- The CAT 2026 registrations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course are now open. Registrations end on Sep 15, 2026.
- The GATE 2027 Registration closing date without late fee for admission to the ME/MTech course is Sep 27, 2026.

The course fee is very high just like a private college but the infrastructure is lacking.
Placements: If you are thinking of getting admission here. There is no placement support and companies do not come. There are no internship opportunities, you need to find jobs off-campus, and you can not get enough skills to get placed by yourself, so your life will end from every side.
Infrastructure: There is a lack of infrastructure. We don't have management support for students. Hostels are good but the other things are not good. I am a final year student. I hope results get less delayed. They take exams in 3 months, you cannot get enough time for studying.
Faculty: There is no proper semester. The curriculum is followed by Burdwan University. They complete semesters in just 3 months. I have proof of documents also, so please don't take admission here, your life will end up. All are theoretical you can not get practical knowledge.

If I say overall review, that is truly average.
Placements: If I say for Microbiology, Chemistry, and Zoology placement experience is not so bad. This college also offers M.Sc. in Chemistry. If I see internships some small and big companies collaborate with our college. If I say microbiology course the food industry, laboratory industry, agriculture industry, medical microbiology industry, biology industry, vaccine industry, and the nano project industry are the greatest opportunities that have better placement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24/7 and classrooms are average. Lab quality is not so high. Library is excellent. Hostel facility is available only for female candidates. Sports and games are not so good. The playground is below average. Reality is the playground is not overall good and well-maintained.
Faculty: If I say for microbiology there are 4 faculty members, 3 are doctorates Even in every subject, there are better faculty members. Mass Communication department is a great department. Mathematics and Physics also offer different types of software courses that help in IT sector jobs. Microbiology department sometimes launches different course seminars in collaboration with IISER Kolkata.
Other: I chose this course because of research options. There is low AI involvement in Microbiology. I like the world which is not seen through naked eyes. This college gives a budget-friendly microbiology course.

Good learning environment and supportive facilities.
Placements: Placements are average in my course. Some students receive internships and job opportunities, while many prefer higher studies. The college also provides basic career guidance and placement support. It's good for all students who can decide their future.
Infrastructure: The college has good laboratories and a well-maintained library with useful academic resources. The classrooms are designed, and the overall campus environment is suitable for learning. I did not stay in the hostel, so I cannot comment on its facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They explain the subject clearly. The curriculum is relevant, and the semester exams are of moderate difficulty, with a good pass percentage. Many students can achieve success and grow, it's really good.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Biology Science. The college has a peaceful campus and good laboratories, and a supportive learning environment. More placement opportunities and industry exposure would make the course even better.

Lack of placements, poor campus management, weak infrastructure, and outdated teaching.
Placements: This year's placement scenario has been really disappointing. Very few students have been placed. Most of them are through off-campus opportunities. There have not been enough good on-campus opportunities. Students have to completely depend on off-campus applications. What is even more frustrating is that, till now, not even a single student has been selected through an on-campus drive. It is difficult to understand what the placement cell has been doing while students are constantly worried about their future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. There is no proper maintenance or authority to take responsibility for damages. The water cooler does not work properly, and the walls are weak with cracks. If you unfortunately take admission in this college, it is better not to stay in the hostel, as the situation there is even worse.
Faculty: Talking about the course, the same outdated syllabus has been in use for decades. Exams are easier compared to other colleges. But the overall college study environment is not very effective. Most professors come with notes that they have been using for many years and teach the same content.
Other: There is no proper campus life and limited support from teachers. Earlier, the fee structure was lower compared to other colleges, but now the college has started competing with private colleges in terms of fees. Students can easily find better colleges within the same fee range. Do not waste your money and time here.

It has good infrastructure and the behaviour of the teachers is also good.
Placements: The salary offered is below Rs.8,000 in CSE and below Rs. 15,000 in IT-ECE. 8 CGPA is a good score to get an internship or a good placement. Many companies are visiting my college. Many students got placed in top companies like Flipkart. Many other companies are also visiting the college. The top role offered is to join Coding Junction.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure and classrooms. They provide Wi-Fi. A library is also available 24/7 and it is air-conditioned and well-furnished with chairs and tables. It has all the books required for many courses. The mess and canteen are good and they serve tasty food.
Faculty: Exams are a little bit tough, but teachers are helpful in nature. Staff members are good, and everything is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and the percentage of students passing the semester is 5 CGPA. In our college, we have an NSS unit that provides many extracurricular activities. Faculty members are good and helpful.
Other: Everything is going well in our college.

I chose the course because I like business.
Placements: 50-60 percent of students get placed. The lowest package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA. The highest package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. Companies like Tata, Wipro, etc., recruit freshers from here. The maximum number of students got internships in many private companies. Roles like general manager, senior manager, etc., are given by many companies.
Infrastructure: Everything is good here. It has fully AC classrooms. Table tennis and carrom boards are available during free time. It has a small campus but good infrastructure. Good food is provided in the canteen with a different menu on different days. There are also well-decorated and cleaned classrooms and corridors.
Faculty: Teachers are so responsible for our increased marks. They take so many exams for each chapter and each subject. Industrial visits are conducted. Staff members' behaviour is good. They make students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 90 percent.
Other: I love business and want a job, so I chose the BBA course where I can do a corporate job and also gain knowledge of business.

No, candidates cannot get direct admissions into MBA courses offered by UIT, Karnavati University. Candidates who wish to apply for MBA must appear for CMAT in order to qualify for admissions. Once candidates receive their score, only then can application process be completed for MBA admission.
