Infrastructure: The college has 2 labs (software & hardware) with 1 PC for each student. The library provides access to books. Wi-Fi is not available. The hostel is clean and peaceful, and the canteen food is average. Mess is also available at Rs. 1000. The college has an indoor stadium. Classrooms are average. One smart classroom is available.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly, very helpful, qualified, and skilled in teaching. Currently, the BCA course follows AICTE guidelines (engineering level), practical, and job-relevant. Exams are conducted per semester, where 2 internal (25 marks) and the final 40 marks. Teachers help you with placements, and YouTube resources are also used.

Other: Scholarship (SVMCM) and others are also available. Friendly environment, the student council organizes events. The admission trend is increasing year by year. Midnapore College is one of the best government BCA colleges in West Bengal, with good placements and a helpful faculty.

It is in a line that is too good.

Placements: Almost 35% students are placed from my college. Here, many companies and banks are recruiting. Here, top recruitment companies are Wipro, Oracle, TCS, IBM, HCL, ICICI Bank, and many. Top courses are BCA Computer Science and Electronics for placement in our college.

Infrastructure: Library is too good. All books are available. Digital reading and a simple reading room are available in a good environment. And labs, hostel, and classrooms are good. And you enjoy your college life during function. And college canteen has all fast food items, lunch, everything.

Faculty: Exam guide and exam guard are excellent. You will receive exam routine 7 to 10 days before. And also declared in the academic calendar. Here, exams are held in our own college, which is a big point for our college. And a practical exam will be held, and externals will come for a viva.

Other: A big college ground is available in our college, and campus atmosphere is innocent. Scholarships are also available for all subjects. And tours and fests are held, but this is your department, dependent on this curriculum.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: From our course, 50% of students are placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, and SentientGeeks. The highest package for our course is 2 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are developer and analyst trainee.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for our course are very good. The Software Lab is perfect, and AC is available there. Classrooms are clean and good. Library facilities are excellent. Hostel facilities are available and very good, with good food quality in the hostel. A canteen is available on the college campus, offering various types of food.

Faculty: Teachers of our department are very helpful. The teaching quality was too good. Our faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified. The semester exams are not too hard, nor too easy. The pass percentage is 92%. This course is very effective for industry readiness.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the computer technical line. The best thing about our course is that I gain knowledge about new, real-world technologies. Events like seminars, freshers' parties, college fests, and cultural programs are held in our department and college. Scholarships are available, and the campus surroundings are excellent.

Approximately 10% of students got internships from our course in SentientGeeks company. Top roles are like programmer, web developer, AI, ML, database management, and a few more.

Infrastructure: There is a large computer lab and also a hardware lab for the subject of digital circuits. In software lab, there is an available computer for each student so that they can learn programming easily, and also students can practice to enhance their skills in their free time. For books, there is a huge library where student can avail themselves of their books by showing their library card. There are 7 classrooms for our course. They are clean and enlightened with LED light, fans, and AC for students. I use to eat in a mess.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They teach us with care and affection. The way of their teaching is highly impressive, they teach us in such a way that every topic becomes easier to understand. Not only do I study, but they also help us to build a good personality and be disciplined. They guide every student for placements and jobs and how to crack an interview. The way the teachers teach us the semester exams feels easy. Sometimes exams feel moderate but not hard. The percentage of passing students is 90%.

Midnapore College is the best college in West Bengal.

Placements: Top recruiting companies are Accenture, SentientGreek, TCS, Wipro, Axis Bank, South Indian Bank, etc. Top roles offered by Accenture and salary is about 3.4 LPA. The average package is 2 LPA, and the lowest offered by TCS is 1.95 LPA. No internships are provided in my college. TCS hires through off-campus. Wipro and Cognizant hire through superset platform.

Infrastructure: Labs are top-notch, and the infrastructure is also good. Smart classroom and library access provided. Wi-Fi is not available in college. Hostel is too clean and provides a peaceful environment for studying. The rooms and bathrooms are good enough. Mess and canteen food quality is average. Indoor stadium is present at the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are friendly, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is too good. Course curriculum is relevant to getting a job in IT industry. Semester exams are not so difficult, if anyone studies the class notes. Passing percentage is 90% above in my final year. The passing percentage is 100%.

Other: Midnapore College is best among all government college who provide BCA degree in West Bengal. Here, students get placement assistance by our dear professor Dr Krishna Goal Dhal. I wish to increase the number of classrooms for my course as the number of student admissions is increasing year on year. Events are organized by the student council on campus. The campus surroundings are healing for the eyes in the garden. All kinds of scholarships have been provided in our college, my passout year 2025.

Placements: I am from the final year BCA batch. In our course, around 60-70% of students were placed through campus drives and programs like TCS SMART Hiring and Wipro WILP. The highest package offered was 3 LPA by SentientGeeks for a Software Developer role after a 6-month internship. The lowest was 1.9 LPA by TCS, and the average stood at around 2.3 LPA. Top recruiters included SentientGeeks, TCS, and Wipro. About 30-35% of students received internships, mainly at SentientGeeks. The most common roles offered were Software Developer, IT Support, and Associate Engineer.

Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure with two well-equipped labs: one software lab where each student gets an individual computer, and a hardware lab with all necessary tools. While the classrooms are basic, they are sufficient for regular lectures. The library is available and provides access to the required academic books. Free Wi-Fi is not provided to students. In terms of hostel alternatives, many students stay in nearby messes in Midnapore, with accommodation costing around ₹1,000 per month and food costing around ₹1,700. Sports and games are organized annually, and students can also access the Midnapore College ground for recreational activities.

Faculty: The teachers in the BCA department at Midnapore College are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. You can even find a list of faculty members online. Placements: Around 60% of students got placement offers from renowned companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, HCL Tech, and some start ups like Sentiment Geeks, Teqsonic, and so on. Major roles offered by these companies include software developer, technical analyst, programmer trainee, and business analyst. The highest and lowest packages offered by companies are 3.25 LPA and 1.85 LPA, respectively whereas the average salary is 2 LPA as per my knowledge. The chance of getting an internship before the final year is quite low.

Infrastructure: Lab is well-equipped with sufficient number of computers with high-speed Wi-Fi connection, ACs, and also projector. There is also an invertor for backup power supply in the lab. There is one large digital classroom. In the hostel, there are facilities like food, lodging, and clothing.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful to students. Some of the teachers, including the HOD hold Ph.D. degree. The designed syllabus enables the student to be industry-ready. Most of the course curriculum is relevant to current industry trends. One can easily get an excellent mark in the semester exams if he/she follow the class regularly.

Other: This course may be one of the cheap alternatives to CSE if one has a knack for technology. It would be better if there were some coding cultures, fests, and hackathons so that everyone can grow within the community. One can benefit from the SVMCM scholarship by fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
