The rollercoaster ride of PGDM.
Placements: In the college, nearly 60% got placed. The highest and lowest salary packages are offered by several companies. Top recruitment companies are Exide, Deloitte, RSM, PWC, etc. Almost 80% of students got internships at Hul, Deloitte, Haldirams, etc. The roles offered are finance, marketing, HR, operations, ABM, etc.
Infrastructure: The entire college is smart. Every classroom is a digital classroom. The campus provides seamless Wi-Fi speed. The classroom structure is very well-designed. The library has a very good book collection. The hostel environment is top notch and even the food is very good.
Faculty: Every faculty is a Ph.D. holder. They have vast experience in their respective fields. The teaching is very good. The main aim of PGDM is to make industry oriented curriculum and VJIM succeeded in making such a curriculum. Exams are at a moderate level and every got passed in exams.
Other: PGDM has a wider scope of getting jobs as compared to a normal MBA and even the course is industry-based. They teach what we need in industry. Taking more practicality and increasing the span from trimester to trimester every year they conduct an annual fest called Milan it is a 3-day fest that is held on a very big scale.

Not satisfied with support provided by placement department and communication with students.
Placements: Our course will be completed in one month but still, nearly 50% of students are not placed yet. Companies are not visiting the college even if they visit the packages are mostly 4 LPA-5 LPA, some companies are coming with 6 LPA. Deloitte and RSM are the top recruiting companies for our course. Coming to internships, it's a horrible experience for finance students just 2 companies visited for internships and only around 15 students of finance got internships from college out of 100 finance students. In finance, tax associate is the top role offered, and in marketing, most companies offer sales roles.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good but one negative is that our PGDM students don't have their playground, existing grounds belongs to B.Tech block so we have to get prior permission to play on that ground. Hostel infrastructure is good, students like hostel life more than college life, and it's an amazing experience to stay in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good and the support they provide helps to improve our careers. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not hard almost every student can pass if they focus on classes.

SSIM and Vignana Jyothi are equal but there is a change in the fee structure. This year, the SSIM fee structure is 5.5 lakhs without hostel, with hostel 7.25 to 7.5 lakhs. Coming to placement in SSIM, it has good placements. if you check last year record, companies were: DELOITTE, TATA

The admission process only involves shortlisting your profile taking into consideration your MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT score + your graduation percentage + your 10+2 percentage. You will be shortlisted based on the score calculated. After that, there will be only a personal interview. As I have already

In VJIM placements majorly comes for marketing profile i.e. 90% of placements are for marketing and rest for finance hr and operations in respective order.
