CSEET 2020 exam to be held in remote proctored mode; registration begins for Nov session
The first-ever CSEET 2020 exam, scheduled to be conducted on August 29, will be conducted through remote proctored mode. The November session of CSEET will be conducted on November 28. The registration process has started.
The first-ever CSEET 2020 exam, scheduled to be conducted on August 29, will be conducted through remote proctored mode. As the exam will be held in remote proctored, therefore, the viva voce will not be conducted. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has taken this decision on the account of COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Students can appear for the exam through laptop/desktop from home or other convenient places. Candidates will not be allowed to appear through smart phones or tablet. Students are not required to appear for the exam from the ICSI CSEET test centres.
There has been no change in the pattern of MCQ part of Computer Based Test (CBT). Paper 4 will carry questions from Current Affairs, Presentation, and Communication Skills. The total marks of this paper are 50. Earlier, Presentation and Communication skills were part of Viva Voce. Now, this is the part of CBT. The total marks of CSEET exam are 200. The duration of the test is 120.
The CBT test comprises questions from Business Communication, Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment & Current Affairs.
Students will be declared qualified only if they secure 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate. The final score will be computed based on the marks scored in CBT. CSEET admit card will be issued to candidates 10 days before the exam.

The November session of ICSI CSEET will be conducted on November 28. ICSI CSEET registration process has started. The last date of registration for CSEET 2020 November exam is October 27, 2020.
Students who have registered for CSEET upto July 27 will be eligible to appear for the first CSEET exam.
