Gauhati University, or GU, in Assam, declared the odd semester exams for the 2019-2020 session amidst the fourth phase of the COVID-19 lockdown. The university declared the results in online mode for the undergraduate degree programmes for the major and general courses such as BSc Major, BSc general, BCom major, BCom general, BA Major, BA General.

Results for postgraduate courses such as MSc in Geological Science, MA in Psychology and MTech in Material Science and Technology are also released by the Gauhati University. Candidates who appeared for the Gauhati University Odd Semester Exams 2019-20 can check their results on the official website of the Gauhati University i.e. https://guportal.in/

According to the official notice released by the university on its website, the results of the remaining courses are being processed and will be declared shortly.

Candidates who appeared for the odd semester exams of Gauhati University can check their results following the simple steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of the Gauhati University i.e. guportal.in
  • Log in with examination roll number
  • Click on the general notification section
  • The link will be redirected to a new webpage
  • Click on the result tab available on the left side of the screen
  • The list of the published results will appear

More than 350 affiliated colleges in Assam are affiliated with Gauhati University to provide undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as  Arts, Science, Commerce and Management, Law, Medicine and Allied Health and Engineering and Technology.
