According to the official statement released by the IP University, this is the first time that any school of the university won a research project worth such a large amount.
The University School of Bio-Technology (USBT), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, or IP University, won an international research project worth about Rs 2.5 crore. According to Professor N Raghuram of USBT, the project is from the UK Research and Innovation, a department of the United Kingdom government, and under the Global Challenges Research Fund for the South Asian Nitrogen Hub with the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, United Kingdom.
According to the official statement released by the IP University, this is the first time that any school of the university won a research project worth such a large amount.
Talking about the project work, Professor Raghuram of USBT said in a statement, “It will definitely boost-up the culture of research in the university.”
According to the official release, USBT is one of the “front-ranking centres of the university as far as research and innovation is concerned.” The school has won a number of national and international research grants in the past.
Meanwhile, the IP University extended the last date for submission of online application forms to 10 June. The decision to extend the submission date of the IP Admission 2020 application forms is taken in view of the coronavirus lockdown.
However, IP University clarified that the deadline for submission of applications for MBA through the Common Admission Test (CAT) score is May 31. There is no further extension or change in the submission date for candidates who want to submit application forms for MBA through the CAT score. According to the official statement released by the University, the dates for editing of applications will also be extended by three days.Â
