No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.

Aspirants who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate are eligible to apply for MBA programme at GGSIPU. Candidates with a 50% score in graduation can also apply provided the requirement of aggregate is 50% or below. For MBA specialisations requiring 60% or above aggregate, candidates need not get admission with 50%.  

CUET application fee varies from category to category and the number of subjects chosen by the candidate for CUET. The CUET registration process is incomplete without the payment of application fee.

For IPU B.Ed admission, candidate should hold a bachelor's degree and/ or in Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities, Engineering or Technology with at least 50% aggregate, or Bachelor‘s in Engineering or Technology with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate. Aspirant should hold the original and copies of the documents during application form filling and admission process.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is a decent choice to pursue an MBA degree. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BTech +MTech Computer Science Engineering cutoff varies year on year depending on JEE Main scores and factors affecting it. On analysing the past three year cutoff trends, the expected closing rank for Round 1 CSE cutoff for 2024 must range between 8556 and 11425 for the General category All India Quota.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - East Delhi Campus has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to MBA course through its affiliated college IITM in the full time mode. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU must have a valid score in CMAT. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, however, doesn't release CMAT scores in the public from last few years. Candidates having a valid score in are called for the GGSIPU Cousnelling based on the scores. GGSIPU accepts CMAT scores for admission to the MBA course across other affiliated colleges as well. GGSIPU accepts AYUSH entrance exam scores for admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course. Candidates with AYUSH scores can apply for the BAMS admission at GGSIPU. The cutoff trend for BTech at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been decreasing in the recent years.
