IPU Admission Process 2026

IPU admission is based on entrance exam scores of the aspirants. The university conducts IPU CET for admission. Candidates must follow the steps given below:

1: The application process of IPU for all the affiliated institutes is done via a centralised application portal.

1.1: Visit the official website of IPU, www.ipu.ac.in and click on 'Admission'.

1.2. Read the instructions and click on 'Start'.

1.3. Select the course and enter the required details. Select CET or Non CET.

1.4. Candidates get an application sequence number, user ID and password.

1.5. Login and fill out the form.

Yes, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 registration commenced at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA released the CUET 2026 notification on January 03 and reopened the window on February 23. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2026 process commenced online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2026 exam must have completed complete the application form online. IPU BTech Admission 2026

166 courses 3 - 6 years

IPU offers BTech for four-years, spread across eight semesters. The UG-level course is offered in different specialisations, including CSE, AI and Machine Learning, etc. It is provided by the IP University and its affiliated colleges. Students can also take lateral entry into these courses. The eligibility criteria state that students who had PCM in Class 12 and scored a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates who miss the deadline or wish to complete their degree along with work can opt for Online BTech courses.

Indraprastha University BTech admission is done on the basis of a valid score of JEE Main or CUET. The university offers BTech for four-years divided into eight semesters. The IPU BTech course selection is done by a centralised counselling of the course.

Q: What is the rank for admission in GGSIPU in BTech + MTech (CSE)?

For last year, the closing rank for BTech +M.Techin Computer Science Engineering was 15339 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
