I selected NBS because of its campus, legacy, placement records and tie-ups with top MNCs: Dharmik Koshti
When I decided to take admission in Narayana Business School, Ahmedabad, I didn’t know that it would be a journey of a lifetime. I applied to almost every college and appeared for their entrance exams, but luckily, I managed to clear the admission process at Narayana Business School, Ahmedabad.
Many people suggested me to visit Kota for exam preparation after class 10th examinations. Kota is a popular hub for entrance exam preparation and is a various obvious choices for many students. However, I wanted to join Commerce stream (particularly finance) which my parents understood and supported my decision of not going to Kota. Since, I decided to study finance and enter a corporate world, I chose commerce as my main stream and started looking forward to all the knowledge that I could gather.
After my high school exams, I had the option to complete my graduation and get into the family business but I decided to pursue management studies instead. I never wanted an easy way out and wanted to go ahead with my aspirations. I scored good marks in CAT and got admission in a tier-1 B-school of India, Narayana Business School (NBS) with a scholarship.
I had also appeared for the selection process of other institutes such as Symbiosis (Pune), Nirma (Ahmedabad) and Institute of Management Technology (IMT) – Ghaziabad. I got selected in three of them but could not crack IMT Ghaziabad.
Preparing for the entrance test is not as difficult as it seems initially. Join a good coaching institute, study at least 3-4 hours a day, attempt as many questions as possible and give as many mock tests as you can. Make a proper environment and schedule to study at home. Since I was very sure of what college and course I wanted, I selected NBS because of its campus, legacy, placement records and tie ups with top MNCs.
