  • Fill your basic details and download application form in PDF format.

A wholesome atmosphere of corporate in college.
Placements: AGBS placement is around 90%, which is good, and the average package is 3 Lacs. The package range is from 3-15 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Asian Paints, ITC, Havells, Amazon, Flipkart, and many more. Internship is compulsory for every student as they have to make an SIP report. The companies mentioned above recruit, and the roles are Marketing Executive, Business Analyst, and more in management fields like Finance, HR, Marketing, and IB.
Infrastructure: AGBS Ahmedabad offers very well-managed classrooms with all necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, projectors, air conditioning, proper ventilation, seating arrangements, and a library with a vast collection of books, journals, research papers, and many more. Our college doesn't provide hostel facilities; they refer third-party paying guest accommodations to help us. Medical facilities like basic first aid, basic healthcare, etc., are available. At AGBS Ahmedabad, we don't have a ground to play, but we have indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess, and many more. Intra-college competitions are held by the college in which we can participate in cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, friendly, and knowledgeable in their field. They teach with practical examples, case studies, activities, and one-on-one doubt solving. The curriculum is well-defined, covering core business concepts with connections to industries, which helps boost skills like communication, presentation, discipline, and problem-solving. Semester exams are moderate, with a 90% pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course to enhance my skills and knowledge about business. The best thing about this course is that it provides detailed theoretical concepts of business with practical applications, and it boosts many other skills that make a good impact on personality. More practical examples should be taught instead of deep theoretical concepts. Every month, a guest session is conducted at college, along with events like celebration festivals, competitions, and more. The campus crowd is average, connectivity is good, and the campus surroundings are good as it is in a corporate area. Every month, extracurricular activities are held by different clubs in the college.

College has a pretty decent infrastructure with good facilities and is located in high street area.
Placements: The college brings in various internships for all the students in the field of marketing, finance and HR, providing LOR too for the same. Placement completely depends upon the way your interview goes and how you're able to express yourself. Companies such as Byjus, Phillips, etc. Also, come for the placements offering a good valued package.
Infrastructure: The college has various facilities like a Wi-Fi connection, computer lab, seminar Hall, library, canteen and a sports room. The college doesn't provide hostel facilities so you'll have to look out for paying guests around the college. But since it's a Main Street area it is easier to find paying guests around the college.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good and very helpful and academics are taken very seriously and also provide projects which are graded seriously. The exams are pretty decent with a good grading system too and the faculty provides good study material which makes it easier.
Other: I chose this particular course since I wanted to pursue my career in the field of logistics and supply chain and the college offers relevant subjects for the same. The college also organises various events and sports activities.

Faculty members are really helpful.
Placements: 1) 80% placements. 2) 10Lakh, 2.5Lakh, 3.5Lakh, were the salaries offered. 3) Oyo was the top recruiter. 4) Marketing manager role was offered. 5) 12Lakh, 2.5Lakh, 4Lakh was the packages offered. 6) All have to do internship mandatory and all of them were placed in different companies. One of my friend got selected in Adani group of companies which comes in top companies in India! I got selected in hi fine machine tools.
Infrastructure: 1) We were provided with the facility of Wi-Fi in each and every classroom which was very helpful for us. Labs are not there in Amity Ahmedabad. There is a small library where students can issue books and can take home too. Classroom are well maintained.
Faculty: 1) The teachers are really very helpful here, Each teacher personally focuses on each and every student if any of the students is weak. All teachers are qualified here in Amity Ahmedabad. 2) The course curriculum is relevant as per the latest pattern.
Other: 1)This course will help me in pursuing my MBA and the best thing about this course is you will even have to learn foreign language among French/ German/ Spanish. 2) Currently there is no campus here in Ahmedabad. I hope in future they should build a campus here too. 3) Amity Ahmedabad is quite good in conducting various events.

Irrelevance of course curriculum and the job you do after that course.
Placements: The placement cell was not able to draw out diverse accompanied and roles for students. Almost all of the roles offered to students from their personal reference for jobs were into Sales and Marketing irrespective of the specialisation. Average package offered was around 3L per annum which is not justified in comparison to the amount of efforts put in by candidate for that particular role.
Infrastructure: The college operated on a single floor in a corporate building. I think this particular line is enough to mention about facilities like sports and labs. The Wi-Fi of college was pathetic so ultimately we used our own cellular networks during entire course.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful to the core. They have always guided entirely when it came to academics. However if the job which we get after a course is all about core sales and running here and there, then why does a college prepare an entire course including subjects like Marketing, Finance and the likes? I mean, practically, if Sales is what a student is supposed to do after a course then it makes no sense to teach her/him anything else! I hope this particular answer is read more than once.

It's a good college, but it can better if they focus on MBA students.
Placements: There are no placements for BBA students, and placements are only for MBA students. Placements are also not that good, and average salary package offered in placement according to me was 3 LPA which is very low after the MBA course and the fees they demand. But it can better if they work hard on their placement committee.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, library are well maintained, and students can avail these facilities anytime they want. Sports room is there where there are 2 TT and carrom board. Our college organises inter-college sports like cricket, football, and badminton. College does not provide hostels, but the college has tied up with some PGs.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and qualified. Teaching quality and course pattern are good, that is according to the latest syllabus. Faculty members are knowledgeable their teaching pattern is good and interesting as my specialisation was marketing, so faculty members were very practical.
Other: I have chosen this course because BBA helped to get a better understanding of the business environment. Ekagrata named the event is organised, which help students from a different college to come and compete with each other.

AGBS, Ahmedabad - B-School.
Placements: I was from 2015-2018 batch. I was doing BBA+GDBA from AGBS, Ahmedabad. They have 100% placement record for MBA students. The highest CTC offered was around 12L in Amazon. Top recruiting companies were - Asian paints, Axis bank, S & P global etc. They also provide summer internship training for both BBA and MBA students. It is compulsory to do summer internship as a part of the curriculum.
Infrastructure: The campus has smart classrooms (Wi-Fi, air conditioned classrooms, library, cafeteria, sports room, seminar hall). There is no hostel facility by the college but they do have tie ups with nearby PG's at an affordable price. They also have medical facilities in case you need.
Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members with great knowledge of their field. Also they are very helpful. Faculty members are very helpful, not just for studies but they guide you as a mentor. Yes If you want to work in corporate and if you are looking for a B-School in or near Ahmedabad, AGBS is the best option for you.
