After graduation, I wanted to continue with higher studies as it was too early for me to secure job. The graduation helped me with theoretical skills but still there was need of practical exposure. I decided to pursue Post Graduation Diploma in Management. I wanted to pursue the same from Vidyalankar School of Business (VSB) because of its track record of 100 per cent placements. Its a reputed institute with good infrastructure and industrial connect. Studying here has helped me boost confidence

Choosing a stream of study after Class 10th can be a challenge as it should match your potential interests. I was facing the same challenge while I was in Class 10th and ended up seeking help from a career counsellor. Talking to them, I realised my interest inclined towards commerce stream. And, this is why I chose to pursue commerce in high school and graduation.

For admission at VSB, I did not undergo any entrance exam or coaching classes. I was eligible for admission as per their criteria. Only I had to appear for personal interview round with a panel of interviewers. As I was through with the selection process, there was no need for me to apply for other institutes. The staff in the institute is very cooperative and faculty members are also supportive. They helped me overcome the fear of public speaking resulting to which I successfully cracked the interview.

I spend most of my time gaining corporate knowledge from faculty. They are experts in their domain and thus, help us with broader perspective of any situation, making us look at the bigger picture. I like to attend finance lecture as it is my favorite subject since high school. Apart from curriculum, there are number of activities conducted by institute such as product development activity by e-cell committee, industrial visit in JNPT and Corporate Social Responsibility. As a part of live projects, we are sent to orphanage to understand the challenges faced by them and help them mitigate the issues. I am a member of entrepreneur committee and I wish to conduct mix and match activity where two unlike products join and develop innovative product. This encourages innovation skills among students. I had fear of public speaking resulting to which I used to find interviews and group discussions as hurdles. But with so many social and cultural activities here and personality development sessions, I have successfully overcome my fear.

I want to start a side hustle, identify a travel goal plan and work towards it. I want learn and improve everyday, take big risk and pursue a big challenge of becoming a efficient manager in future

I believe, making plans, setting goals, taking resolutions, taking small steps forward, and being patient these are the rules that have helped me to become an entrepreneur. I am working on my skills everyday so I can turn my dream of becoming entrepreneur into reality.
