Studying at O.P. Jindal Global University helped me come out of my comfort zone & explore the world, says Ashutosh Gupta
I belong to a small town in Haryana and my journey from there to Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), O.P. Jindal Global University has been challenging, but I have learned a lot in this time. I got the taste of different cultures within my University along with better education and personal development. To top it off, I earned 100 per cent meritorious scholarship in Jindal University. The culture, diversity and immense student exchange opportunity provided by the Jindal Global University were the major attractions, why I preferred this university over others. And today, I feel I made a right decision. To be honest, I used to struggle with English while responding to class questions, speaking in public, but now I am confidently participating in debates and presentations. This was possible because I am always willing to push myself to bring the best out of me and also, because of the confidence which is built in me after coming to Jindal University. I consider myself lucky as I also got a golden opportunity to go and study abroad in one of the best universities in the world.
The extensive exchange programme with Macquarie University, Australia, helped me to carry forward my aspiration to get the best education and provided a fabulous opportunity to taste yet another culture. I experienced a complete new chapter for a lot of new things while studying in Sydney. A relaxed lifestyle, high-level safety and countless things to see and do -- I loved living in one of the best student cities in the world. Studying at Macquarie was an amazing experience. I met a diverse range of people from different cultures, I was able to explore a lot of new things plus I was able to study and learn differently. My exchange programme taught me to be independent, self-secure and most importantly have broaden my perspective; it was an unforgettable experience.
I believe that JGBS has contributed tremendously to shape my personality. At last, I would like to say that, Jindal University served as a gateway for me to be out from my comfort zone and explore the diverse world.
