I was from a Commerce background in my Senior Secondary schooling. I had an inclination towards Business Studies and Management. Business Administration was the field which was closer to what I wanted to study and pursue my further education and career in. I was searching for colleges and filtered out many colleges on the basis of the quality of education, high rate of placements and proximity. BMSCCM had a good brand name and it was within my commute range hence, I chose BMSCCM.

PI Round Prep Tips

As for the entrance tests, we did not have them but there was a telephonic interview with the faculties which was very informative and insightful as my interview was taken by our principal, Dr Pankaj Choudhary. I had to prepare for the entrance interview, I prepared for business and accounts-related questions and I had to brush up on all my basics of Commerce and Management before my interview. In the interview, I was asked about the business-related situation and questions which helped me.

Experience at BMSCCM

We had to miss a year of college life due to the pandemic and lockdowns. When the offline classes were begun it was a fresh start but the teachers were supportive and boast our confidence about college life. We had many fests and cultural activities which began with spectrum week where we had to cosplay according to theme and flair with the Indo-African theme band beat gurus and Samskruthi with the most famous artist Raghu Dixit.

College life and classes were fun with business activities and tasks we learnt business and management from a different perspective and in a field knowledge about the subject. We had many presentations and case studies which helped us gain a wide knowledge of different fields in the business organisation. College also gave us an opportunity to set up a virtual business where we had to work on deeper concepts about organisational operations. The college provided an opportunity to portray our skills in the campus placements where many companies came into our campus to select the best candidates and I'm thankful for the knowledge I have been given which helped me get into a company with a package of INR 9 LPA package.

The future I am aiming for is very high and difficult but the college life and experience gained in the BMS College of Commerce and Management have set a level and bar for all the difficulties in the unpredictable future
