Unveiling a Purpose-Driven Journey: Navigating Success, Entrepreneurship, and Societal Impact

In the words of Albert Einstein, “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” This sentiment has been the guiding force in my professional journey . As I reflect on this journey, I am reminded that success is not a solitary pursuit but an amalgamation of opportunities, connections, and unwavering support. Think of your dreams as powerful engines. They're not just random thoughts; they have the strength to push you forward, motivate you, and make you strive for something bigger. Perseverance is like having a strong backbone that keeps you standing tall amid challenges. There is no laid-out guide to success. You have to make your own guide through your own experiences. You and you, alone, will know what works for you and what doesn’t.
On the academic front, securing the All India Rank 1 in Commerce in the CBSE AISSCE 2019 was a pinnacle moment for me. I recognize that moment as the inception of the journey that was ahead of me.The recognition that followed, including an invitation to the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 15th August 2019, where I was felicitated by the former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, and our honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Subsequently, I was invited to witness the Republic Day parade from the Prime Minister's Box on Janpath, New Delhi, on 26th January 2020. These moments were not just personal achievements but an acknowledgment of the collective efforts and sacrifices that went into the making of my journey.
My time at SP Jain has been more than just an academic venture; it's been a voyage of self-discovery and global exploration. The innovative Tri-City Model, allowing me to study in the vibrant hubs of Singapore, Dubai, and Sydney, has not only broadened my horizons but has also been instrumental in forging meaningful connections across borders. This unique approach has made the world my classroom, offering insights beyond textbooks and fostering a global perspective that is indispensable in today's interconnected world. I am grateful to have received the prestigious President's Global Excellence Award at SP Jain School of Global Management. This recognition, spanning academics, co-curricular, and overall business and social initiatives, validated the holistic approach I took toward personal and societal growth. Graduating with a BBA in Finance as the Valedictorian from SP Jain, with 10 gold medals as a dean's list holder, reflected my efforts towards personal academic excellence, as well as, my commitment to being a positive influence within the educational community.
The institute has released the 2023 placement statistics for the Master of Global Business (MGB) and Global MBA. The the highest package offered to Global MBA and MGB batches 2023 were INR 72.83 LPA and INR 48.84 LPA, respectively. Further, the SP Jain School of Global Management average package for Global MBA and MGB stood at INR 32.11 LPA and INR 19.84 LPA, respectively. In addition to this, 48% of MGB and 54% of Global MBA students received international placements. Amazon, BNED Loudcloud, Aramex, Bosch Global, and many other renowned companies participated in 2023 placements.
My journey truly began at the age of 17, when, driven by a burning passion to make a meaningful impact, I set out on a path less traveled, launching my first business—a travel company, “Experience Travelidea Private Limited”. The primary motivation in coming up with this venture was my passion for travel. In the growing stages of my entrepreneurial venture, I identified a pressing need within the market: supporting medical tourists who required last-minute tickets but found themselves unable to afford the prevailing market prices. This endeavor wasn't merely about profit; it was a conscious effort to bridge a gap in accessibility and affordability. Little did I know that this initial venture would serve as a launchpad for a series of achievements that would define my journey.
Additionally, I had the honor of representing India and my university at the prestigious P&G Coffee Club in Dubai. Among thousands of students in the UAE. This experience broadened my horizons and reinforced the belief that, with determination, one can break through barriers and reach unprecedented heights. Through my Here4U consulting series, I coached hundreds of students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the challenges of Class 12 and competitive exams. It was a gratifying experience, knowing that I could contribute to the growth and development of future leaders. By the age of 22, I had embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, starting four startups across diverse industries, including travel, finance and business consulting, retail, and health and hygiene.
However, I was not content with confining my impact to the entrepreneurial sphere only. My aim is to represent India and Assam tourism abroad. My efforts involved promoting India as a tourism hub to foreigners by participating in international travel fairs and exhibitions. From WTM London to ITB Asia and ATM Dubai, I crossed continents, bringing attention to the rich tapestry of our nation. But success, for me, is not measured solely in business accomplishments. It's about giving back to the community and fostering positive change. I strive to undertake extensive initiatives to promote financial literacy and prosperity and have had the opportunity to visit 24 villages and 15 schools to empower individuals with the knowledge necessary for securing their financial futures.
My journey is also marked by a commitment to humanitarian causes. As the head organizer of TedX Spjain Sydney, I facilitated platforms for diverse voices and ideas to be heard. In a demonstration of unwavering commitment during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered with Foodbank UAE, distributing food to those less fortunate. Additionally, I served as a pioneer volunteer, assisting the Indian Embassy in Singapore with the connection and evacuation of Indian citizens. My professional journey also includes being a former District Joint Secretary at the National Human Rights and Crime Control Bureau..
In my professional journey, I engaged in various internships, including a noteworthy stint as a business consultant at a removalist company in Australia. The experiences garnered during these internships, particularly my role in providing strategic insights to the removalist company, broadened my understanding of diverse business landscapes and enriched my problem-solving skills. However, my heart pulled me back to India, where I believed I could contribute more significantly to the nation's economy. Presently, at the age of 22, I find myself managing 100 employees across various ventures. While personal success is a part of this narrative, my focus extends beyond individual accomplishments to the broader canvas of societal contribution. This responsibility, which I embrace wholeheartedly, goes beyond the metrics of personal achievement, recognizing that each job created is a stitch in the intricate fabric of our nation's economy. The decision to return to India and channel my energies into creating employment opportunities was not just a career move; it was a commitment to the shared prosperity of my community and country.
In essence, my professional journey is not a tale of personal triumphs, but a narrative that underscores the significance of purpose-driven decisions and the responsibility that success brings.I hope that this journey serves as an inspiration for others to seek fulfillment in their endeavors, understanding that the true measure of success lies in the positive contributions we make to the world around us.

If we talk about Cutoffs, SP Jain is much easier to crack than the to IIMs that compete with it. Because if you want to have a call from old IIMs then you have to get 99+ percentile. On the other hand, for SP Jain you can get the call at even 85 percentile.
