My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements were good. The placement team worked hard and was dedicated to placing all students. The companies that visited the campus included Morgan Stanley with a package of 5 LPA, Deloitte – 5.3 LPA, Asian Paints - 4.6 LPA, Practo – 7 LPA, Bata – 6 LPA, and EY - 4.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel was good. It was a two-sharing room setup. The mess was also good and offered pure vegetarian food. The quality of the food was good and felt like home food.
Faculty: Faculty at the college was highly qualified and had tremendous industry experience. Faculty was helpful and student-friendly. The teaching methodology followed at CMS was practical-oriented. Faculty kept updated information about current trends. As the semester system was followed. exams were held every six months, and ample preparation time was given. We had not reached the electives stage, which would be in the second year. In the first year, I had to study all three subjects. They were physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry.

It wasn't what we hope for.
Placements: The assurance and the reports provided by the college against placement activities were truly achieved upto 80 to 85%. In Initial days during orientation, college spoke about their placement success within and abroad. The packages were highly between INR 2.9 LPA to 5.7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The management of college was liberal, and its convenient to approach college guides for sorting out issues. Being a student of master in global business it's essential to dress ourselves in proper uniform. The college had developed a good response from the public.
Faculty: Faculty members were disheartened by their work, and they made us feel more irritated by their shouting and aggressive comments. This aggressive behaviour of teachers truly made us feel so low. Students won't approach them for help often. Exams marks were calculated in the form of grade systems.

Clashes between students arises often.
Placements: For every department, a separate placement head and their assistants were appointed. Those assistants divided students into groups based on their career interests and trained them accordingly. Also, those assistants sent us to the right companies based on our interests. A package of 15.7 LPA was the best-in-class offer given to the BBA students.
Infrastructure: Individual blocks were allotted for students from all disciplines, and separate facilities were prepared for all discipline students. Most of the time, clashes arose between students of different departments. The college solved this by organizing joint events, sharing space, and resolving issues together.
Faculty: I was really grateful for teachers I had, they were extraordinary in building relationships with students. They created an optimistic learning environment with high standards of studying. Teachers genuinely believed in the talent of students.

Looking at the past years' trends, the SP JAT exam is usually considered moderate in terms of the difficulty level. The SPJAT exam is a management entrance exam which is easier than the other MBA exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc.

If we talk about Cutoffs, SP Jain is much easier to crack than the to IIMs that compete with it. Because if you want to have a call from old IIMs then you have to get 99+ percentile. On the other hand, for SP Jain you can get the call at even 85 percentile.
