Mystory@Venkatraman Iyer: How I got admission in Sinhgad Institutes
Once I was done with my standard 12 exams, I had no clue what to do next. After several discussions with my friends, I got to know that BBA was a good course, and I gave it a thought. Finally, I decided to try my luck and thought of applying for the same.
I heard that Indira Group of Institutes was one of the best institutes in Pune for BBA and I straightaway filled in the admission form of the institute. However, when I reached Indira Group of Institute, I got to know that a Common Entrance Test (CET) was conducted for admission to BBA. The University CET exams were over already by then, and I neither filled in the form, nor appeared for the exam. Fortunately, all the institutes were conducting CETs of their own and I gave CET for Indira Group of Institutes and Sinhgad Group of Institute. I got into the merit list of both the institutes. Finally, I decided to go for BBA in Sinhgad Group of Institutes as it was closer to my home.
After completion of my graduation, I was placed with Axis Bank, and since then I have been a banker.
