According to Assam HSLC 2021 Time Table, the SEBA 10th Board Exams were scheduled to commence on May 11 and conclude on June 1. However, considering the ongoing pandemic situation and increasing COVID-19 cases, Assam Board cancelled SEBA 10th Board Exams 2021.
Assam HSLC Topper 2021: Board of Secondary Education, Assam released the Assam HSLC Result 2021 on July 30 at 11 am. According to Assam HSLC 2021 Time Table, the SEBA 10th Board Exams were scheduled to commence on May 11 and conclude on June 1. However, considering the ongoing pandemic situation and increasing COVID-19 cases, Assam Board cancelled SEBA 10th Board Exams 2021. In order to release Assam HSLC Results 2021, the Board formed a committee to come up with alternate evaluation criteria. The committee for Assam Class 10 results was headed by the former Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Dr Alok Buragohain. According to alternative evaluation criteria for SEBA 10th Results 2021, a formula of 40:40:20 will be followed. This ratio refers to different weightage allotted to different aspects. To elaborate further, 40% weightage will be given to class 9 marks, 40% weightage will be given to class 10 internals and 20% weightage will be given to school-based internal assessment. Meanwhile, Assam HS results 2021 will be released on July 31, 2021, at 9 am.

Class 10 is a crucial stage in a student’s life, as in Class 10, the student decides which stream of studies to pursue. Broadly there are three streams to choose-Science, Commerce, and Arts. Students with an aptitude for Mathematics, Science and those who wish to pursue medical or engineering courses can opt for the Science stream. Students wishing to enter banking, financial field and with an aptitude for accounts and bookkeeping can opt for the Commerce stream.
