HSLC Exams 2026 Assam are conducted in offline mode (pen & paper). Candidates write the answers on answer sheet provided by the examiner. The Assam State School Education Board, Assam released the SEBA HSLC routine 2026 on November 19, 2025. The Assam Class 10th theory exams were conducted from February 10 to 27, 2026. As of now, the Assam board has not made any changes in the SEBA HSLC exam pattern. The board will soon prescribe the exam pattern in the form of a model question paper. Last year, the Assam board made some changes in the Assam HSLC exam pattern 2026. An OMR sheet will be given to answer the objective-type questions (50% of total marks) carrying 1 mark each for the core subjects. The chances of making any change in the Assam Board 10th exam pattern this year is very les. However, in case any change made in the exam pattern for the upcoming board exam, we will update the same.

To make the best use of the Assam Board 10th exam routine, divide your SEBA HSLC syllabus according to the gap between subjects. Create a suitable study schedule based on the official SEBA HSLC date sheet while considering your strong and weak subjects. Focus more on the subjects that have less gap before the exam. Try to complete the full SEBA HSLC syllabus at least two weeks before the exams begin. Use the remaining days for revision and mock tests.

The exam comprises 6 subjects namely AII Mil, English, English (IL), Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The total mark of the Assam HSLC Board exam is 600. 100 marks is distributed in each subject in the SEBA 10th board exams. Only Science paper has practical exams. Out of 100, 90 marks are distributed for theory exams. On the other hand, 10 marks are for Internal/practical exams.

So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.

Students must note that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration if they found using unfair means for cheating inside the washroom. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.

Yes, students can use the class 10 model/sample papers during their exam preparation. They can also practice it while studying in a group. It will help them understand the final exam pattern, the frequently repeated and type of questions asked.
