The students who have not applied yet can apply online through the official website of the Board i.e. biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.

Bihar BSEB Class 12 exam 2021: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) extended the application process for the annual intermediate exam 2021 i.e. BSEB 12th Board Exams 2021. According to the official information shared by the Board, the online application process is now extended until September 10. The students who have not applied yet can apply online through the official website of the Board i.e. biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The Bihar Board will announce the dates of secondary, intermediate exams by the end of this month. The board exams are likely to be held in February next year.

Earlier, the Bihar Board took the decision to pass all compartment exam students in the view of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. According to the rules, students who fail in one or two exams are supposed to appear for compartmental exams, and only after clearing these, a student is considered a pass. The BSEB, however, in an official notice said that considering the situation caused due to the pandemic, it would not be conducive to hold the exams.

Bihar Board promoted over 1.32 lakh students, i.e. 54.81 per cent of 72,610 students based on grace marks in the intermediate exams. In matric, of 2.08 lakh students, 68.07 per cent or 1.41 lakh got promoted, as per the official data.

The official stats also suggest that this year, a total of 80.59 per cent students cleared the matric, class 10 exam, while the pass percentage in the intermediate exam was 80.44 per cent. The minimum percentage required to qualify matric exam is 30 per cent.
