CBSE 10th Topper 2024 Dyuti Jana

CBSE 10th Topper Dyuti Jana has secured 98.6% in CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024 with utmost dedication and hard work. Dyuti, a student of GD Goenka Public School, Dakshineshawar aims to join AIIMS Delhi or Harvard University. In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Jana talked about her CBSE 10th board exam preparation routine, her reaction to Class 10 CBSE results, tips for upcoming aspirants and more.

CBSE Board Exams 2024 were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024. The Board announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2024 on May 13.

Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results? Did you score what you expected?
A: Thank you so much. I was at school when the results came out. I was really anxious but I became really excited on seeing my results. My teachers were overjoyed too!

I did expect better results but I am satisfied with the results.

Q: Please tell us something about your family background.
A: My parents are both doctors. My Father is an Ophthalmologist and my mother is a Radiologist. I have a twin brother, Shreyan Jana who gave Cbse 10 boards with me and scored 97.4%.

Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?
A: The only strategy that I followed was diligent studying and continuous revisions.

Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: I took classes from SIKSHARTHI Educational Institute near Baguihati. All the teachers, from Priyanka ma'am, Arghya sir, Ahana ma'am, Sayantan sir to Aditi ma'am stood beside me the entire session.

Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?
A: My parents, grandparents, all school teachers along with Priyanka ma'am and Arghya sir encouraged me most of the time.

Q: What was your routine during the CBSE board exam preparation?
A: My routine comprised to dedicated study and efficient use of atleast a minimum amount of time each day. 

Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming?
A: My future goal is to become a good HUMAN being. I believe development should not only be mine but of everyone around me. I want to be the part of such a dream. I like the careers of both my parents. But I guess we'll come to know of it later. If life gives me lemons, I'll make lemonade.

Q: What is your favourite subject?
A: My favourite subject is maths.

Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?

A: I am opting for all kinds of entrance exams that come at the end of my stream.

Q: What is your dream college/institute?
A: My dream institutes include Harvard and AIIMS Delhi.

Q: Please share some tips for students prepping to appear in CBSE Board Exams 2025
A: The tips that I would like to share with my juniors is that, utilise time properly and categorise your priorities. Be sincere. Focus on NCERT. Keep up with school's pace. Best of luck!
