CBSE 10th Topper 2024 Nishkarsh Parashar with 99% aims to crack JEE and join top IITs
In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Nishkarsh talked about his CBSE 10th board exam preparation routine, his reaction to Class 10 CBSE results, tips for upcoming aspirants and more. CBSE Board Exams 2024 were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024. The Board announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2024 on May 13.
A: Thank you! When I saw the results, I was elated. I had been anticipating this outcome due to my diligent efforts and sincere dedication to my studies. The confirmation of achieving such a high score filled me with immense joy and satisfaction.
Q: Please tell us about your family background?
A: My familial context is modest; I hail from a single-parent household, nurtured by the unwavering love and dedication of my mother. In our journey, mutual support and resilience have been our guiding lights. I've never taken tuitions; instead, I've helped my mother by giving tuitions to my juniors.
Students need to score at least 33 percent in all subjects and a minimum aggregate of 33 percent in CBSE 10th board exams 2025 in order to clear the examinations.
The Board has released the CBSE 10th syllabus and marking scheme for all subjects. Students must ensure to complete their syllabus and know the exam pattern well. They must nalso download and solve the CBSE 10th sample papers and previous years' question papers to perform well in the exams.
Once done with the syllabus and practice, students will be able to clear the 10th board examinations will good percentage.

A: To surpass the 95% mark, I meticulously crafted a strategy founded on unwavering discipline, rigorous practice, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Clarity was sought for every query, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of each subject matter.
Q: What was your CBSE board preparation routine?
A: During CBSE board exam preparation, I followed a strict routine. I allocated specific time slots for each subject, took regular breaks, and ensured to revise regularly.
Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: I abstained from both online and offline coaching. Instead, I relied on self-study and guidance from my mentors, fortified by an indomitable spirit of self-reliance.
Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming?
A: For my future plans, I am aiming to pursue a career in engineering. I aspire to join a prestigious institution and specialize in a field that aligns with my interests.
The ambit of my aspirations encompasses a myriad of entrance examinations, including JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and other esteemed engineering entrance tests, each serving as a gateway to prestigious institutions.
Q: What is your dream college/institute?
My dream college is the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). I admire its academic rigor, world-class faculty, and the opportunities it provides for holistic growth and development.
Q: What are your future goals?
My ultimate goal is to become an accomplished engineer and contribute to technological advancements that positively impact society. I aspire to innovate, lead, and inspire others in the field of engineering.

Students must remember to carry the CBSE 10th admit card 2026 along with the required stationery like pens, pencils, ruler, geometry box etc. It is important that they do not forget the CBSE admit card 2026 Class 10 or they will not be allowed to write the exam.
CBSE 10th exams 2026 areexpected to be conducted between February 15 and March 18, 2026 in pen and paper format.
