CBSE Board Exams 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released CBSE Sample Paper 2021 for Class 12 Chemistry among other subjects. According to the official reports, CBSE 12th candidates preparing for the upcoming final exams can check the sample papers and marking scheme on the official website of CBSE, i.e. cbseacademic.in to boost their preparation. While the board is yet to announce CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2021 and CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2021, the Board secretary Anurag Tripathi recently stated that the board exams will be held βfor sureβ next year. Meanwhile, various media houses claimed that CBSE released practical exam tentative dates. However, the official confirmed that the board is yet to announce dates for CBSE Class 12 final exams.
CBSE 12th Chemistry Sample Paper 2021, Marking Scheme
CBSE 12th science students must note that the science theory paper will have 33 questions for a maximum of 70 marks. The question paper is divided into four sections, i.e. A, B, C and D. Section A will consist of 16 questions of objective type. Question no. 1 and 2 would be passage-based questions carrying 4 marks each while question number 3 to 16 carry 1 mark each. In section B, question no. 17 to 25 are short answer questions and carry 2 marks each. While Section C, or question no. 26 to 30, would be short answer questions carrying 3 marks each. Section D will have three long answer questions carrying 5 marks each.
Students must note that there will be no overall choice in CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper. However, internal choices are there. Meanwhile, use of calculators and log tables is not permitted.
