Tamil Nadu Class 10,11 and 12 results 2020 will be announced by the third week of July, the state education minister confirmed.
Tamil Nadu Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan has confirmed that the state board will be announcing the Class 10, 11, and 12 results 2020 by third-week of July 2020. He further stated that the Directorate of Education Tamil Nadu will announce the exact date of the announcement of results once the Class 10 exams are successfully completed.

Earlier, the TN Board had released the time table for TN 10th Public Exam 2020. As per the revised TN 10th Time Table 2020, the TN SSLC Exam 2020 will be conducted from June 15 to June 25, 2020. The Class 10 Board exams in the state were earlier postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country. Students can download their TN 10th admit card 2020 from the official website of the board.
The rescheduled TN Board Exams 2020 for class 11th and 12th will also begin from June 16 and 18 respectively. The TN 11th admit cards 2020 and TN 12th admit cards 2020 can also be downloaded from the official website of the Board.
A total of 9.5 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 10 / SSLC Exam 2020 this month. On 4th June 2020, TNDGE also released the SSCL Admit Card 2020 for the upcoming exams.
The Minister has now confirmed that the board will now be releasing the Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2020 and Tamil Nadu 10th Results 2020 by third week of July 2020. This year, due to coronavirus outbreak the Board exams were postponed, which has, in turn, resulted in a delay of the release of 10th board results and 12th board results.
Keeping in mind the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the government has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the safety of the students, staff and teachers during the exams. The Tamil Nadu government has made all necessary arrangements to ensure social distancing norms and other health safety guidelines are followed.
The total number of exam centres has been increases and the seating arrangement has also been tweaked to ensure proper social distancing. As per the official data, the exam will be held from at 12,690 exam centres to allay apprehensions of parents and students over the possible contract of COVID-19 while appearing for the board exams. Reports also indicate that masks will be distributed to about 46.37 lakh students, besides teachers and other staff during the examination period.
