Admission to MBA course is based on entrance exam score. The university accepts CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ SNAP score followed by group discussion/ presentation and personal interview round.

Candidates must complete bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate or equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to the State of Madhya Pradesh in a reserved category) to apply for the MBA course.

At the postgraduate level, IIMIDR offers a PGP programme to students. The mode of Indian Institute of Management Indore course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams are CAT,  IPMAT Indore, and others.
