Candidates must have completed graduation of a minimum of 3 years duration with the mentioned percentage from any recognised institute/university. Must have secured at least 45% marks for reserved category. OR Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline for a minimum of 3 years duration with 10 + 3 (Diploma) and obtained 50% ( 45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination as per current AICTE norms.

SRM University conducts SRMJEEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. However, as per the information available on the web, the university offers direct admission to the top 1000 rankers of JEE Main, state board toppers & outstanding sports achievers.

So, yes, it is possible to get into SRM IST Chennai without SRMJEEE.

LIBA Chennai does accept CAT scores for admission to PGDM courses. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants can also apply for PGDM with XAT scores. Candidates applying for PGDM (Gulf/ FN/ OCI) programme can also appear for LIBA Admission Test. Selected candidates also need to pass WAT followed by GDPI.
