Yes, an entrance exam is required for the BDes programme offered at AAFT. Candidates have to appear fro the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE), which is an integral part of selection. This test also has objective-type questions to give an opportunity to gauge the ability of applicants. However, candidates who clear this AAFT GEE get an invitation for a personal interview, which determines their potential to get enrolled in the programme.

BA at AAFT is a full-time three-year UG course divided into six semesters. It is designed to provide students with strong theoretical foundations and practical training in chosen field. In three years, students get hands-on exposure industry interactions and opportunities to build a professional portfolio for career growth.
Application forms can be downloaded from the university's official website. To apply for admission in BDes programme. Applicants should send application form accompanied by application fee and required documents to seek admission in BDes programme. For reference here is application procedure for AAFT BDes:
1- Visit official website and click on "Apply Online" tab.
2- Next fill in application form including selection of desired courses and schools.
3- Provide personal details such as name contact number etc.
4- Fill in academic qualifications in given slots.
5- Finalise your application by paying a suitable amount of application fee.
AAFT has concluded the admission for the academic year 2026 for BDes admission. However, the university has not specified a last date to apply. Admission to the BDes course is based on the AAFT GEE scores and the performance in the person interview round.
To be eligible for BSc course admission, aspirants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. The Certificate shall be issued by a recognised board (CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB or state board). In addition at time of form filling or admission student must have signed copy of mark sheet and pass Certificate of Class 12. Students appearing for class 12 final exams are also eligible to apply.
On the official website of AAFT, there is no mention of sholarships. However, AAFT Noida offers various discount and loan facilities. In the past, AAFT has provided a few international scholarships to its students in association with the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry to its students. A ULCA scholarship was also bagged by students at AAFT.
AAFT courses are offered to students at the UG, PG, diploma, and certificate levels. The college offers courses mainly in fields like Journalism and Mass Communication, Advertising, PR & Events, Performing Arts, Animation, Design, and more. Some of the popular courses offered at the college are BA, BSc, BDes, MA, MSc, etc.
AAFT offers a full-time BDes programme in two specialisations. These specialisations include BDes in Interior Design, Fashion Design, and 3D Animation and Visual Effects. BDes at AAFT is offered through the university's Faculty of Design. The university offers BDes with a four-year course duration. Scholarship 1- In the past, in collaboration with the overseas Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, AAFT offered a few overseas scholarships to its students. Students at AAFT also won a ULCA scholarship.
Scholarship 2- Under this approach, scholarships are given to PG students in ASMA and AAFT, while ULCA scholarships are given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. This grant is provided to outstanding students enrolled in a second-year MFA (Cinema) programme by AAFT in partnership with ULCA.
AAFT Noida offers a separate residential facility for boys and girls that is available within 8 km of the AAFT campus. Due to limited occupancy, hostel accommodation is not offered to applicants from Delhi and NCR. Admission to the hostel is made on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Yes, for admission to all of its courses, the college conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., the AAFT Global Entrance Exam (AAFT GEE).
