Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering - Batch of 2022

Aeronautical Engineering Diploma at Acharya Polytechnic.
Placements: There is no placement after Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering at the core field but you can get in IT or companies like L&T in the mechanical domain. Only a few percent of students can get placement, but taking placement after the Diploma is the worst choice. The average package students can get up to 4 lac.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and its hostel is amazing and has 120 acres of Wi-Fi-enabled campus with some decent speed between 8 mbps to 10 mbps. The hostel is also having good facilities on internet and also average food quality (according to students). Medical facilities are good for students.
Faculty: The faculty for this course is very good and very friendly and also helps if there is a need. Teachers are well qualified and very good at the core field. The exam is not that much difficult if you have cleared your concepts. The curriculum is made in such a way that it gets you ready for industry but needs some upgrade as per the modern requirement.
Other: The scholarship is available on the basis of government sources or on a matrics basis.

Our college has good infrastructure, facilities and a healthy environment.
Placements: Basically, after a diploma, it is not recommended to get a job, or nowadays no company will hire any diploma student to make their job done. In our college, there is almost no placement after diploma, because in diploma we only study the basics of our core subjects which is not up to the mark to get placed.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar so I don't know about hostel service. I heard that the food quality is good in NR Hostel. The campus is spread on 120 acres and is Wi-Fi enabled with satisfactory upload and download speed. To get high-speed internet (1gb/s) you can use the LAN connection provided in all lecture rooms and also in the central library. The central library is also high-tech enabled with a smart lab containing IMacs in it, and also plenty of spaces for students and also 5 rupees coffee for those students who were continuously working.
Faculty: Faculty members are too good, and they all are friendly. They try their level best to help the needy students and are experienced. Overall, teaching quality is good, and they encourage us. The course curriculum should have some updated thing or some deep learning, but the present course curriculum is not in-depth. Semester exam difficulty level is moderate, and if you study well, you will top.
Other: They also provide scholarships to the students based on the metric percentage and for Karnataka students, they also provide governmental seats. In a whole year, many programs are celebrated on a college campus, but the main event is Acharya Habba, taking a time span of 1 month.

I think it is the best college to get a quality education.
Placements: We will obtain placements but not in the company we desire. Only a few companies visit our college for placements. Placements are given only for few students. Most of the time, there is no chance to get a placement. If you are good at studies, you can easily get placed based on your percentage and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are comfortable here. There is a healthy environment throughout the college. The whole campus is good. It has Bangalores largest library, which has a very good infrastructure, and you even borrow books using your college ID card. It has one of the best infrastructures.
Faculty: The whole college will be like a library during exams since it is so quiet and supports the students in writing exams. Many facilities are also given for writing exams. Our college provides the best teachers throughout Bangalore. Faculty members are so friendly here.

It has the best infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: Aeronautical engineering students work with one of the most technically advanced engineering companies. It is mainly in the field of design of aircraft to space and satellites. HAL, NAL, CAPS, Wipro, Capgemini, Sono Vision, TCS, and Quest Bachal are the companies involved in the aerospace sector in the design area. In the field of maintenance, repair overhaul and other operation roles are offered by Airbus and Emirates.
Infrastructure: Acharya Hall Of Residence is the best facilitated and affordable hostel. It has a total of 12 residences, of which a total 5 are for boys and 7 for girls with a capacity of 1500 each. It has the facilities of laundry service, horse riding facilities, gym and more.
Faculty: It is the number 1 college for Diploma in aeronautical in Bangalore, and it has the most experienced and well-qualified teachers who help the students with their academics. The curriculum helps the candidates to gain all the knowledge to be in the work field. The examinations are easy to pass, but if you want to score more, you have to work hard.
Other: I want to gain knowledge about this field, so I chose this course. I am passionate about aero planes. I passed out in 2020. The crowd is good, and you can get a good atmosphere on the campus. There are many sports and other events on the campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements and practical labs, but the infrastructure is good.
Placements: There is no trace of placements in this college. You will not find even a small clue or anything related to placements. There are no placements in this college for the last four years, I think. Please do not join this college if you are hoping to get a job. I do not suggest taking the wrong step of joining this college. If your purpose is to have a lot of fun, then go ahead with this college as you will find a lot more opportunities to redesign yourself, participating in different activities.
Infrastructure: People who initiate their journey in this college will experience a very interesting part in their life by the design of college, especially the central library and every building that look so admiring. The infrastructure of this college would stand at the best, I guess. Hostels are very expensive to live in. I found that people who live in private hostels or rooms can save their money, and they pay less amount comparing to the people who reside in college hostels. People who stay outside may save up to 30,000-40,000 than college hostelers.
Faculty: I could say that we only get satisfied rather than feeling totally perfect because though the teaching is good, no perfect practical labs are available to perform specific experiments, which is included in the curriculum. You can find some teachers very helpful, whereas some of the teachers cannot teach well, and they just come to the class and pass their time till the end. I would say the teaching quality is a bit satisfying, but I believe that this course curriculum is not relevant because that doesn't make students industry-ready. The syllabus is very old, which is not up to the mark of this particular program.
Other: There are many extracurricular you can find in this college rather than studies. Everyone can enjoy their part of life by different cultural activities conducted in this college.

Really good infrastructure but they lack in faculty.
Placements: There is no placement for aeronautical department but you can have internship which are mostly unpaid. And there are very less company for recruitment, if you are in automobile department you can expect a lot of internship, one of my friend is now doing his internship in Toyota.
Infrastructure: Well, you get a very average classrooms with no smart class, they you have public Wi-Fi in the campus which is limited to some places. Library is good for the Polytechnic branch, but I would prefer the central library of my campus, it is one of the best in South India. You will not find much books for aeronautical beach in both the library. Well infrastructure of hostel is very nice, you have options of double and triple sharing, well food in the hostel is average, but every month we have a meeting for any changes in the menu, we have an ambulance 24x7 ready for any emergency, well I don't see much involvement of Polytechnic students in sports and games due to the strict attendance issue.
Faculty: Well the faculty of the aeronautical department is average, with no practice knowledge to them, most of the faculty are good but you will find some faculty of lack of knowledge or not up to the standard, the HOD is the most experienced person, he teaches really well. Well the curriculum which you will study here is 5-10 years back, that's not a problem because most of the college have same curriculum, and also it will not make you industry ready. Also here faculty here only wants to be in pressure, they will blackmail you for your attendance, they will make your life worse by just giving very early deadline for the record and assignment.
Other: Well I found my passion and interest in this subject from my childhood, so I thought doing a course in which I have interest will my career good. The lab equipments are really old I just want them to get updated, and the practical knowledge you gain is very less so hope in the upcoming days they improve that. I would like if they take very experienced faculty in the department, and also faculty will change every semester.

It is a good college with proper infrastructure and some faculty members are not well experienced.
Placements: No placements since 2016. The last placements were held in the year 2015. Very few chances of placements in the college. It is needed to improve the placement cell. There were no placements provided for my senior batch. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. The internship provided to the students from college. Last company visited was Mahindra Aerospace.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi is not properly available. The library is good. The good medical facility is provided. The facilities are good for sports & games. The canteen is also good. The quality of food provided in the hostel is good but poor in taste. The hostel rooms are nice but congested considering the hostel fee.
Faculty: When I joined this course, we had very well experienced faculty members, but later they resigned from the college. The new faculty came who are not having any experience in the industry. Many of them came after their bachelor degree, so they are not much experienced to teach the subjects.

Our college is good in terms of specialised teachers and their teaching.
Placements: Students can do their own business.
Faculty: There are excellent teachers in our course. They are very skilled and helpful in our studies by assisting us with our work. Semester exams in our college are very easy. All students pass the exams with their own skills and knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because it is better for my future.

Inter transfer in polytechnic is very common and you can get the transfer. Please meet to your HOD or Principal regarding this and tell him the issues related to transfer. He will definitely take necessary action regarding this.

To apply for aeronautical engineering you don't need to appear for the entrance exam. You must have at least 35% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Science from recognized board. Just apply and selection will be based on the percentage obtained in 10th.

Hello Yuva, Acharya as an institution has a fairly good academic reputation. Diploma is basically a skill imparting course. This institute has enough and appropriate labs for the requirement of Diploma courses.

Diploma or polytechnic experts are in demand now at the present. It is a good call and the scope is mainly in the aviation sector.
