Faculty, infrastructure, and campus are all good.

Placements: Good placement and internship opportunities from reputed companies in their respective fields. Top recruiting companies are Byjus, PocketFM, Zeest LLC, Himesh Reshammiya Music Studio Mumbai, and Gameshastra (for audio and music technology). The package includes INR 3–4 L/annum for permanent job roles and INR 10–15 K/month for a 6-month internship program.

Infrastructure: Industry-standard equipment includes: Mac Lab, 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos mixing studios, light and photography rooms, analog rooms, and chroma studios. No hostel or canteen is available. Infrastructure and staff are the best. Parking spaces are available. We do have the best sound studios and facilities to get hands-on experience and training practically. The best possible instruments and sound equipment are available within the college for our use.

Faculty: Highly professional faculty members, skilled in specific streams and with industry experience, are there. We appear for semester-wise examination modules and have a summer internship and final internship period well endorsed in our curriculum. So that we gain industry working experience also during our studies itself.

Other: The best institution in the media and entertainment industries. We are certified by MESC and Avid Pro Tools, and during our course we get added certifications from Avid Pro Tools and MESC (Media and Entertainment Skill Council).

Our college provides good placements, and it has creative studies.

Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed. There is a well-dedicated placement team. Students in all specialisations get placement opportunities. I have utilised placement facilities. I got placed at a good company.

Infrastructure: The campus and hostel are too good, with great facilities. There are studios and Mac labs with all the equipment needed. The quality of food provided in the mess is very good.

Faculty: The course curriculum and faculty members are sought out. All teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They share maximum practical knowledge. It is useful for establishing us in the industry.

Other: In this course, I have learned a lot. I learned about different tools and software, recording techniques, and the ethics of being in the studio.

Great place to develop as a sound professional.

Placements: None of the students from our batch are placed yet as the final year is still left. Roles offered in our course are mixing engineer, live sound engineer, etc. The top recruiting companies are Byjus, and Amazon, which were placed from our previous batches and have completed their degrees.

Infrastructure: There is one 5.1 studio, one 7.1 studio, and a Mac lab, and the entire campus has wifi connectivity. The recording and mixing studios are professionally built and acoustically treated by the teaching staff of the college itself. All the systems in the college run on mac OS.

Faculty: They are very helpful, highly qualified, and extremely experienced. They help in solving each n every doubt and take each n every student seriously. The semester exams are pretty simple and are very much helpful. This curriculum covers each n every aspect that is necessary to make a student industry ready.

Other: I chose the course as I had to pursue my career in music.

Review of Seamedu - Ajeenkya D Y Patil University.

Placements: Placements are low. Students with zero backlog are eligible for placements by the college. This isn't the college's fault as this field requires personal hard work and you will need to find work by yourself. People who get placements through college get into companies like Byjus, Radio Mirchi, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, Seamedu is an excellent college. Both the studios are high-end and of industry standard. The college has expensive equipment like Neumann Microphones, Avid S3 + Dock, Genelec Speakers, etc. All the computers in the computer labs are Mac PCs with the latest versions of all sound-related software like Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Nuendo, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. We are trained under the supervision of an Ableton Certified Trainer. Teachers clear our doubts and also help us with personal mentoring sessions. The college conducts Avid ProTools user certification tests. Semester examinations are easy if you practice and study.

Other: I chose this course to gain more knowledge about the technical aspects of sound.

It provides good education, but the management is bad here.

Placements: Not many students get placements here. It promises to provide placements at the admission time, but in the end, they deny them. They have contacts, but still, most of the students end up being a freelancer.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. It provides good labs with plenty of space. It is useful for those who want the technical aspect of music and sound.

Faculty: Our college provides a good education. The online patterns of exams are good. Exams are easy to crack. At last, it is fun studying for what you are passionate about. Faculty members are good here.

Other: I could get hands-on experience with the latest gear here. I got pro tools and logic certification.

Come here for knowledge, not for job.

Placements: 1. Only a few gets placed via college, rest have to do it all on their own. 2. The salary varies in Sound Engineering as most of sound engineers are freelancers, one can get 1000 Per project or in some rare cases 100000 per project depending upon various factors such as contacts, past work and talent. 3. Few music Studios in Mumbai recruited the students. 4. Job roles as Live sound engineer, Mixing engineer, Record engineer and more related to Technical part of music were offered. 6. Seamedu tries their best to give you internship either in their own college or in relative companies, but this applies only when one completes eligibility criteria for internship. Others have to get on their own. A class of 30 would get 5-6 interned in the very own institute.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available but a student rarely gets to use it. Labs are the best as there are iMacs installed to practice whole day long. One classroom is acoustically treated. There are 3 music studios in which one can use anytime by booking (small studio), one 5.1 and 7.1 which only can be used by pro tools certified students (usually 2nd year students if you cleared the exam or 3 rd year) 2. There is no hostel facilities available. One has to find a PG. Canteen is good.

Faculty: 1. The teachers are good as well but I feel they are a little bit dated on their knowledge. Teaching quality is excellent. Everyday a new thing can be learnt. However, Journalism and mass communication is also taught which might be of no use for some students. For 2 days in a week one has to go to Tilak Maharashtra Vidhyapeeth for classes. 2. The course and the curriculum is well designed according to the Engineering aspect of sound.

Other: 1. This is the only college in India who offers B.A. in Sound Engineering or B.A. in Sound and music technology. 2. The management of the college can be improved as well as the online library Inpods. 3. Half of Fridays are celebrated as Jam Night where students can perform with their own instruments in front of others.

The course is extremely good with highly professional faculty members.

Placements: As this course is partly based on your own skills than what is taught on the campus, placements usually depend upon your skills. Even though you score excellent marks, you won't be able to get placements if your skill record is not good enough. The college provides lots of placement opportunities in the industry. But if you don't have the necessary skills, no matter what, you wouldn't be able to get placed. Many companies including Yash Raj Films, Focusrite, and Native Instruments visited the college and recruited students. The highest salary offered was up to Rs. 60,000-80,000 per month. The lowest salary offered can be around Rs. 5,000-15,000 per month. Many students were offered internships from the college. The college itself provide internship programmes on the campus.

Infrastructure: The college is really good with high-end consoles and labs. It is one of the best in India. The college provides all essential needs such as Wi-Fi and library. Classrooms are also of high standards. The food served in the canteen is not very good when compared to other colleges. The college doesn't provide any hostel services. However, it will assist you in choosing many PGs that are situated around the college. College always tries to solve the infrastructural issues as soon as possible.

Faculty: Faculty members of the journalism department are really good and experienced. Most of them are seniors and are part of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. Thus, they are highly qualified in their area of expertise. Faculty members of the sound engineering department are also extremely good. Even though some of them are not seniors, they are still well experienced and trained in their subjects. Sound engineering faculty are highly trained and teach you well at an advanced level through practice sessions by providing hands-on experience.

Other: Apart from usual classes, the college also conducts workshops in which many famous musicians and engineers from all around India come to conduct workshops on various subjects. These are really helpful. Students also conduct JAM sessions every Saturday to showcase their talents.

Placements: In our field, placement completely depends on how much effort an individual is ready to put in. Your work defines who you are. Of course, dedication is a must if one wants to excel. Students from previous year's batch were hired by many reputed companies and channels such as Avid, Ubisoft, Aajtak, Zapak, etc. Often companies come and look for mixing engineers, live sound engineers, sound designers, etc.

Infrastructure: Excellent working space, highly advanced sound labs, 5.1 and 7.1 studios. Workstations are provided with Mac, MIDI equipment, etc. Classrooms seem great. We got a chance to meet a lot of people from different regions of the country as well as the world.

Faculty: The faculty here is great. Everyone tries to help you out with your issues. People here are the best in their field. Rather than emphasizing bookish knowledge, practical lessons and examples were shared. The students can approach the teachers whenever they want to. The course consists of a lot of things ranging from consoles, hardware, audio equipment to DAW's, music entrepreneurship.
