    On Highlights
Q:   Is the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus the same for all colleges?
    A:

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

Q:   Is the BTech CSE syllabus the same across all colleges?
    A:

The BTech CSE syllabus differs on the basis of the college offering the course. Every college follows a particular coursework pattern set by the college committee. Though the subjects might vary, the overall conceptual framework is more or less similar for students to get hold of the important concepts of the CSE field.

The syllabus includes core subjects, elective subject choices, practical lab work, workshops, and a final year research project.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
    A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

Affordable college with good learning and campus life.
Placements: Our passing out batch got good results. About 60-65% of students are placed, with packages starting from 25,000. Ashok Leyland is the main company, and many got roles as supervisors and operators. Currently, the college is trying to bring other companies through collaboration with AESTHETIX EDU-TECH.
Infrastructure: Our college has campus Wi-Fi and labs, which are medium good for studying. Classrooms have projectors, and there is a library with textbooks, other study materials, and storybooks. Hostel food is adjustable. A small shop is in the hostel. But there is no medical facility in the hostel. In college, we have sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly in teaching. They are helpful. Most of them are well qualified, but some are also freshers. The new KTU 2024 curriculum makes students industry-ready, but it’s comparatively tough. University semester exams are difficult, but internal exams from the college are easy. The pass percentage here is around 70-75%.
Other: I took this course because I like machines and wanted to learn how they work and how to operate them. I feel it would be better if there were more practical teaching. In college, we have Arts Fest, Tech Fest, and also the big Al Azhar Fest.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 70% of students are placed. The highest package was about 5 LPA. Intern roles in companies are the most offered. Around 70% of students got internships from my course. Mega campus placements always take place on my campus. It is a good opportunity for students to get the job they need.
Infrastructure: Everything is okay with both the college and the hostel. But college didn't have a mess. The food provided in the hostel is bad. The atmosphere for studying is not at all good at the hostel. Because there are different types of students from different courses at the same hostel, they are all cloud people, which makes for an awful environment for studying.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not that good at teaching. Many teachers lack knowledge about the subject. Many had bad tempers. Many teachers are just enduring their anger with students. Many are just awful teachers who don't know how to teach and are simply wasting our time.
Other: I chose this course because it is more likely to get placed easily. Events and fests are rare on the campus.

Absolutely satisfied by the workings of the college and the behavior of the faculty.
Placements: The college has a well-functioning placement cell. They provide and conduct programs and seminars for the students to improve their skills and personalities, and they help them build inner confidence to interfere in interviews and acquire well-defined positions in a company.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are really spacious and have a conducive environment. Our college possesses good aesthetics and peaceful behavior. All high-tech instruments are available. The library is full of top-rated text books. Hostels are clean and have good daily maintenance.
Faculty: Our college has a group of good teachers who provide their full attention to their students. Teachers are highly educated, experienced, and have good dedication to their subjects. They are helpful to the students who are struggling. The teacher's full support is given.
Other: Al Azhar Fest is Kerala's  biggest college celebration.

Affordable fees, good teachers, useful curriculum, and decent placements.
Placements: In my course, 60% of students got placed, with salaries between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 38,000 per month. TCS and Infosys were the main recruiters, and 50-70% got internships, mostly with Luminar. The top roles offered are software engineer and web developer. You can do internships all year.
Infrastructure: Campus Wi-Fi is available, a library full of books, and classrooms that are good but average. The hostel has a mess hall with food. The hostel fee is Rs. 6000 per month. There are no medical facilities, but sports and games are available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in my course are nice, with some freshers and some experienced ones. The teaching quality is okay. The curriculum (KTU 2024 scheme) is good and helps students get ready for the industry. The semester exams are tough, but internal exams are easier, and the pass percentage is around 60%.

It has a good campus life and atmosphere.
Placements: In our college till this year, no campus placements happened for the computer science department. But there are placements for other departments. We have to find internships ourselves and go for it. But from this year, they have signed an MOU with another company, and they are trying to bring other top companies to our campus for internships and placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good but not excellent. We have many labs, smart classrooms, campus Wi-Fi, and AC in the seminar hall, which is nice. There is a small canteen and store. The library is good for storybooks and syllabus-related books. In the hostel, we have a TV, Wi-Fi, and it is a 3-floor building with many rooms. Each room has at least 2 fans. There are no restrictions on mobile phones or laptops. Food quality is not good some days, but it's okay to adjust. There are no medical facilities in the hostel. We do have sports and games in college.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and have nice behaviour. For the first year, we will get experienced teachers, and for higher semesters, we will get new faculty members who are new to the field, so it will be like for both teachers and students to catch up, which is the only difficulty with faculty. The course curriculum for us (KTU 2024 scheme) is too good for industrial knowledge. Semester exams are conducted by the university because the college is not autonomous. Internal exams are good. The pass percentage of college is fair because it is 60-70%.
Other: I suggest students do not take the course if they don't like it. There are events in our college, such as Al-Azhar Fest (which is very famous), Tech fests, arts, etc.
