Scholarship Criteria:
Merit:
This will always play an important role in scholarship decisions. Top students in any of the schools will be eligible for scholarship consideration although the exact scholarship amount and numbers may depend on the academic school or department. Students will need to provide proof of academic and scholarly accomplishments to be eligible for the scholarship. The percentile of students receiving the scholarship will depend upon the school and area of specialization.
Socially Backward Communities:
The University is committed to affirmative action for such backward groups as, OBC, SC/ST, and other such groups approved by the Government of India. A certain percentage of such groups will always receive scholarships each year.
Special Disadvantaged Groups:
These groups include women, those with disabilities, etc. These groups will not be treated with any discrimination and will be afforded an equal opportunity to scholarship opportunities.
Scholarship Schemes:
University has put in place several scholarship schemes including tuition/fee waiver (partial or full), stipends to cover living expenses and/or health benefits expenses, etc. The amounts depend on the scheme, the academic program, location, etc
Scholarship Application Process:
The students should contact the departmental office and submit an application in the appropriate form. The department will provide the list of scholarship schemes available. The student is responsible for submitting all suitable documentation based on the scheme. Such documentation includes proof of merit, recommendation letters for merit scholarships, Government approved proofs for members of Backward communities and any other necessary documentation for special disadvantaged groups.

Placements: The highly rated companies would prefer students to do an internship in their companies with a good stipend in positions like copy editing, content creation, and journalism. And they always aimed to place students in good companies and good roles, probably with a pay of above 4.67 LPA.
Placements: In terms of placements, there will be a great move by offices for all courses. Massive opportunities are provided in various fields like content creators, copywriters, journalists, and tutoring, with the highest packages. Advertising companies like Ogilvy, BBC, and The Times of India are some notable recruiters.
Placements: Before the recruitment process, we have undergone a short mock programme conducted by the college to test our preparation for placements. The rate of placement success by this year would be 83% which was higher than before. Sasken Technologies and Civica are some of the common recruiters.
Placements: Normally, M.Sc. Chemistry students are allowed to attend interviews with specific companies like pharmaceuticals, research, and chemical-based companies. The expected package ranges between 3.2 LPA and 3.9 LPA in our course. The best-in-class package is 9.4 LPA, offered by DuPont and Sabic.
Placements: Career opportunities are available in various positions like audit, taxation, and financial counselors, and all such companies took part in our college's drive process. The highest package, up to 17.3 LPA, would be selectively provided to 2 to 3 candidates from the overall college. Our placement head suggested we participate in the drives conducted by banks.
Placements: There were around 80% people placed recently, and the average package offered was 8.25 Lacs. Amrita invites many top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, and many banking sectors. These companies come directly to the college to select good aspirants. Lots of internships are provided in our university. Recently, we got an internship from Dabur. Top roles for BBA graduates were marketing executive and bank managers.
