It is good in terms of academics, but campus life here is average.
Placements: For digital filmmaking, placements are less. If you have a good portfolio in graphic designing, like motion graphics and other graphical aspects, there are good companies. Many well-established companies are coming here.
Infrastructure: There is no advanced equipment. There are only average equipments. There is not even a good projector or sound system to enjoy a film, which is very essential for a filmmaker. They are improving the facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members couldn't help us during the pandemic. They have tried their maximum in academics. The course structure is not excellent. All faculty members are good, friendly, and helpful. Counselling and other aspects are also there.

Facilities given from the campus are good.
Placements: Maybe 2-3 students got placed after B.Sc. The salary package offered is almost Rs. 70,000 per annum. Students of this course should search for jobs on their own. Internships are not offered for the visual communication batch, and internships are only available after M.Sc. The top role offered by the college is in journalism.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, an audio production lab, video editing lab, studios, photography studio, high workstation centre, cameras and gimbals. There is MAC for high render and editing, and there are video cameras to shoot films. Classrooms are good, and they have a projector and screen for viewing videos and sometimes films, which is very good to watch and talk more about films in the class. I am not a hosteller. Food available in the canteen is average, and students should not expect more. Sports are very less as compared to other colleges, and they should give particular time even for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very helpful and well-knowledgeable. They explain every topic and do more practicals to explain things. Sometimes they also give assignments regarding the topic which they go through on that day. If your portfolio is ready and good, you can get placed and can get a job anywhere.
Other: I have chosen this course to become a film editor and graphic designer. Maybe minor and major projects are the best to date. I wish the college to provide more teaching in film editing and colour corrections photography. Events and fests are conducted here.

B.Sc (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2028
    3.8
    4Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good college with good placements and good faculties, but infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: Around 80% of them get placed. The highest packages are around 24 LPA, the average package is around 8.2 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Companies like SAP Labs, Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Oracle, Amazon, Ford, and many other companies. Up to 80% of students got internships in top companies like SAP Labs and NI India. Top roles are mostly IT professionals, and many of them are recruited in the pharma industry.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is good, labs are top-end, classrooms are also neat and clean, and the college has a library near the boys' hostel. Hostel is not much clean, there is no washing machines to wash clothes and even the washing stone offered are less in number, it doesn't have an attached bathroom but offers a common bathroom, food facility is average but canteen food is good, it focuses lot on sports and extra curricular activities, the campus even has a sports club which you can enroll at the orientation day and selection will be held at a later time.
Faculty: The teachers are all Ph.D. holders, so no problem in terms of teaching, and they are helpful. The curriculum is optimized, and a separate facility called CIR runs just for the placement training, making students industry-ready for their placements. With enough preparations, you can ace the exams, and the pass percentage is 35%. The main thing for you to attend the end semester exams is to have an attendance of 80% or more.
Other: This B.Sc. PMCS course offers you specialisation in artificial intelligence and data science, which is really necessary in IT companies and other top companies in today's world. After this course, we can do M.Sc. or MCA, or we can even get into business. The campus life is not very vibrant. I wish they could improve that. Once a year, an event called Sathgamaya takes place, which is good. Apart from that, a lot of events take place, the college is situated near the city, merit-based scholarships are available, the college focuses a lot on extracurricular activities too.

It can be inferred that getting admission to the B.Sc programs at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences is not overly difficult, but may involve a competitive selection process, potentially considering factors like CUET scores and other admission criteria set by the institution.
