Rules And Regulations For Award of Merit Scholarship
Scholarship is subject to the following conditions:
(i) Scholarship will be awarded as per the rules and regulations of the University.
(ii) Scholarship amount will be remitted only after the results are declared for the particular academic year (both Odd and even semester) either by transfer to the bank account or by Account payee Cheque.
(iii) Scholarship will be withdrawn if the student gets involved in any disciplinary actions during his / her period of study in the University.
(iv) Scholarship is not applicable to students withdrawing the admission or discontinuation of studies in the middle of the academic year.
(v) Scholarship for 1 year students will be awarded based on the academic performance in both semesters (Odd and Even). For example - First year student will get scholarship benefit in second year.
(vi) Scholarship will be renewed on request in subsequent years on consistent academic performance by securing a Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) of
(a) 9.5 and above for 5% Students (% of Seats based on total admissions per programme)
(b) 9.0 and above for 6% Students (% of Seats based on total admissions per programme) in each semester without any arrear at any point of time. (Backlog subjects should not be there i.e. students to pass all semesters in first attempt only.)
(vii) The above mentioned scholarship scheme will be applicable from 2022 admissions onwards.
Yes, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences offers scholarships to students as financial assistance. The scholarship details for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham students are as follows:

These scholarships are applicable for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. The scholarship is issued at the complete discretion of the University.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham provides tuition-free scholarships; however, each scholarship has a different amount of the waiver. These awards are renewed annually in accordance with the student's behaviour and academic standing. It is not possible for students to hold more than one scholarship at once.
Amrita Chancellor Scholarship: students who earn at least 75% in Grade 12 or UG/PG are eligible for a 100% tuition price waiver.
Amrita Scholarship of merit: 74% of students with 70% to 74% will not have to pay tuition.
INR 2.42 Lacs is the total tuition cost for the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programme at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences. In addition to the tuition, students must pay a one-time enrollment fee of INR 3,000 and a dorm cost of INR 1.97 lakh.ASAS, Amritapuri, Kollam charges INR 1.14 Lacs for the first year of BCA tuition. For the academic year 2024–2025, the costs for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's BCA Honours programme are INR 48,700 for tuition and INR 3,000 for a caution deposit. The BCA program's fees are structured like a slab system; when a student's CGPA falls, so do the expenses.

Placements: Course is MCA and BCA, and the duration is 5 years. Passing out is 2030. Approximately 60-70 percent of students got placed from the course. The recruiting companies are TCS, HCL, IBM, etc. Around 40 - 50 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered are software developer, junior Java developer, web developer, etc.
Placements: 65-70% of students got placed in our course MCA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Cisco, IBM, TCS, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, and many more. The roles offered are software developer, data analytics, sales and marketing, finance and consulting, and many more. The highest package offered is 10.5 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA - 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. I think around 20-25% of students got internships from MCA and the companies IBM, Infosys, and Deloitte based on my knowledge.
Placements: There are some good placements happening here, and I can confidently say that my experience has been quite positive. When I first joined, I was a little unsure about how effective the placement cell would be; but over time, I realized that the college genuinely puts effort into getting students placed in good companies. We have several reputed companies visiting the campus and the training provided before the interviews is extremely helpful.
Placements: The mass recruiters hired almost everyone without any backlogs. It seemed they had a tie-up with CTS, which was also a good option. It was a good experience, I had two campus placements, one at Aricent and the other at Nagarro. Many companies visited our campus for placements, a few of them were Aricent, Nagarro, One Nine Seven Communication, Sapient, GlobalLogic, Microsoft, Adobe, MakeMyTrip, etc.
Placements: An average of 50-70% of the students get placed in our course from our senior batch the highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA, the average would be around 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Adobe, HP, and Teach Mahindra. Placements: Our college provides average placements. Top companies don't visit our college to recruit students. They offer good salary packages. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, SAP Labs, etc. Our college provides placement opportunities every year. You can also work at the college as an assistant or as a full-time worker and get less than the minimum wage.
