Good review of Assam Engineering institute .

Placements: In my branch in my branch and that's they were at least modern 450 students at the starting of our first semester later it became at best 250 students the highest package offered in our course was of companies was 30000 per month and the lowest was 2000 per month forever internship and the average was 5000 per month for internships.

Infrastructure: In our college everything was fantastic and they are where Wi-Fi which can provide for us and also labs for every department like chemical like civil like soil stabilization and we have libraries we have hostels for boys and girls separate and for boys we have at least 4 hostel and for girls we have three hostel also we have canteens dispensary's if any case a student got ill get ever or any issues in medical terms and for sports we have sports week and also we have games many games.

Faculty: Of course our teacher are more qualified then you ever known there knowledgeable and the technical help quality are amazing of course my course is civil engineering and if you have a little bit of knowledge you would have known that the industry are all ready to accept civil engineers at any time .

Other: Of course I have a passion for civil engineering that's why I applied for this course and of course it has many opportunities because in India or in any country or any word who doesn't want to build a house or infrastructure course I have a passion for civil engineering that's why I applied for this course and of course it has many opportunities because in India or in any country or any word who doesn't want to build a house or Infrastructures or something .

I got admission in 2021 and this is my 3rd sem going on. I am totally satisfied with the college.

Placements: In the civil engineering department, there are around 120 students in each batch, and there are 3 groups. The recruiting companies for civil department students are Star Cement, PWD, and many more. I would suggest that students who are interested in fieldwork should take this branch.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of AEI is very good. There is a large field where the events are held. There are 4–5 large buildings where classes are held. The labs are so well furnished. And the physics lab has so many useful instruments. The engineering lab also has many useful instruments.

Faculty: All the teachers were knowledgeable and also supportive. They try every possible way to make us understand the chapters. And they do the practical classes so well. For an engineer, practical classes are more important than theory classes, and they try to make us understand the practical classes.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE. The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024. NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission. For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam . [Except son/daughter of central Govt. Employees). Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) must be produced at the time of Counseling. Physical Fitness (Optional): Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. Candidate will have to produce fitness Certificate at the time of admission from a registered medical practitioner as per enclosed format. Eligibility for Sports Quota: Candidate must be a medal winner of State Games/ State Championships/ Tournaments organized by Assam Olympic Association/ State Sports Association/Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam and will be decided in order of Medals of Gold/ Silver/ Bronze received. The medals received by the candidates must be within the period of last 3 years. Eligibility for NCC Quota: Selection of candidates for NCC category would be considered in order of merit as per NCC Examination Certificate. NOTE: Candidates are asked to submit the documents of the NCC camp attendance. In case of tie in NCC certificate and grade, the camp attendance will be considered for deciding rank.
