Best college in Assam to pursue Diploma in any Engineering course.
Placements: The mechanical branch has a total of 40 seats. The placement of this branch is fairly good compared to other branches. Mostly private companies come for placement. The placement in this college, including all the branches, is average. But not all students are offered placement.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the Assam Engineering Institute are average. It has good infrastructure, but it is not well maintained. The college has a good library, good labs, and is well equipped with various facilities. The college has a big campus.
Faculty: The college has supportive teachers who are quite helpful. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant and will make the students industry-ready. The exams in college are quite easy if you prepare well, and exams are easy to pass. You can easily score 60 percent in exams.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in this subject. And I wanted to pursue this career.

Placements: AEI has a decent placement scenario with many students getting placed in reputed companies in every year. The placement cell conduct various placement drives and skill enhancement programme to help student. Many reputed companies offers and hired student from the institute in past like Oil India, IBM, TCS etc. Offering a descent package around 3-5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: AEI is equipped with modern facilities, including computer labs with the latest hardware and software, a library with a vast collection of book and journals, sports facilities for both Indore and outdoor games and well maintained hostel with all facilities including 24 hrs electricity and water supply, high-speed internet connectivity, student security, medical facilities and mess facility that serves nutritious food to the students.
Faculty: AEI provides a well rounded education to student. The experienced professors and lecturers with extensive knowledge and modern teaching methods ensure that student grasp the concepts and develop practical skill. AEI covers a wide range of topics, including progamming languages, databases, management, operating systems, computer network and etc. The curriculum designed to provides a strong foundation in CS while also enabling them to specialize in their areas of interest and monthly or weekly test are conducted to test student's understanding and improvement. The exams include both theoretical and practical components and conduct in a fair and transparent manner.

Teachers are very helpful.
Placements: From our batch some opted for B.Tech. Some are working in private companies. Are some are preparing for JE entrance exams. Campus placement from civil was not there in our batch. I am also preparing for Je exams like RRB JE Apsc je. Private companies like Ambuja cement also recruited from Our institute earlier.
Infrastructure: Overall facilities were good. There was large collection of books in library. Toilets needs to improve little bit. Canteen is okay. Smart classes are there. Playground for extra activities is also there. Beautiful auditorium is there. There are also facilities of workshop for practical knowledge.
Faculty: Teachers are well experienced. Teaching quality is top class. Notes of every subject are given nicely. Class tests are taken regularly. Every teacher finishes syllabus completely before exam. Very supportive teachers. Site visitare also done for practical knowledge.
Other: Teachers are very good and Friendly. Campus environment is perfect. Facilities are okay. Overall one of the best Engineering Institute of Assam.

It is the best institu for Diploma in Assam, over all the college is very good.
Placements: Actually I started my journey in this institute during covid, so in this period placement are not come, but many of our students gets government job after passout. Our senior said that their senior gets job through placement before covid
We have our 6depqrtmemts- civil engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
Infrastructure: There have 4boys hostel and 2grils hostel about 150students from all batch and branch are stay in hostel. Hostel provide good facilities for student, hostel food are good and hostel is cleaned by students regularly, three times meals are provided in hostel.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and they teach us all the topics that mentioned in syllabus, specially our civil department teachers don't miss any class, we have recently go for college excursion in gangtok, and our teacher guide us. Site visit is also provided in every semester.
Other: PRC is must nessasary to take admission in this institute .

A glimpse of electronics and telecommunication branch at AEI, Guwahati.
Placements: In this branch, above 50% of students get placements. Others are going for B.Tech or another field. The average salary package offered in this course is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Jio, BSNL, Airtel, TTS, ONGC, and IOCL. All students get internships from Assam-based companies. The top roles offered in this course are technical consultant, junior engineer, system engineer, telecom engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The department is well constructed. There are no air-conditioners but sufficient fans are available. The lab rooms are cool. The main library of the institute is open for all students along with the department library. No Wi-Fi is available for students. There are 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel is available. The environment of the hostel is very good and the campus is ragging-free also. The food facility is nice in comparison to PG in that area. The canteen of the institute is closed from covid time. Sufficient medical facilities are available for all the students and staff members.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members of our college are very helpful and well skilled. They are always looking to care for students on all sides. Especially, HoD mam is too nice and professional for her duty. All teachers always advise students to build a good career with respect to their interests. Teaching quality is advanced. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 90-100% and the difficulty level of semester exams is moderate.
Other: Assam Engineering Institute is one of the best polytechnic colleges in Assam. So the students come here from every corner of Assam. The college is highly recommended.

It is one of the top technical institutes in the state.
Placements: Approximately 50-60% of the students get placed with the highest salary package offered around 2.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 1.5 LPA. Students got placements in many PSU and private companies. Around 70-75% of the students got internships from the course in different companies. Junior engineers and developers are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The institute is well-managed and has a good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facilities are available on the entire campus in every department. Classrooms are in good condition with projectors. The library is very good, and the materials related to the course are available. Hostels are with good accommodation capacity.
Faculty: All the faculty members are great, highly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The course curriculum is relevant. But with the development of technology curriculum has to be upgraded and make future-ready. Semester exams are not that tough. Almost 98% of the students pass out with flying colors
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science. Introduction of the latest technology will improve the course even more.
