B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2020
3.4
I am dissatisfied because of the faculty. There are no good placements.
Placements: Almost 70% of students in our college were placed. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was up to 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies offered placements. Top roles were not offered in our course. The salary package offered in our course is up to 2.5 LPA. Internships offered in our course are very less.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is too good, and labs in our course are not good. It does not work sometimes. The facility of labs is separate from the classroom. Classrooms are there in our course and department. Facilities in our course are good. The hostel facility is good.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful in studies. They have good knowledge about the course, and the teaching is also good. Teachers here are helpful and qualified. They are the best faculty in our course. The course curriculum is relevant, and it doesn't make the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course to know about machines and how it works.

Review of Aurora’s Technological and Management Academy (ATMA Uppal).
Placements: Companies like Amazon, Oyo, Infosys and Google visited our campus for placements. I was studying at this college. The college has celebrated the fest and an annual day extremely well. The education provided was good. Ragging is not encouraged. The HOD and staff members of the civil department are very good. They made me study a lot. They played cricket, and they are the champions of our college.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like labs, classrooms etc. Sports and games facilities like hockey, chess, cricket, football, volleyball, throwball, table tennis, table tennis, carrom, gym, etc., are available. It is a very good college to study.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good at teaching. We had good staff members and HOD. They always teach us how to study and how to learn from others. Our college has 86% record in studies. Students maintain almost 90% of attendance.
Other: Fests conducted in the college are very good. The college provides scholarships on time.

Review of Aurora’s Technological and Management Academy (ATMA Uppal).
Placements: There were not many placements in our college. Only BPOs visited the college to recruit the students of our batch and our senior batch. The packages offered to the students range from 1 lakh per annum to 2 lakhs per annum. No internship is offered. By joining Aurora, you end up wasting 4 years of your life.
Infrastructure: Facilities are the other worst category in our college. No Wi-Fi facility is provided. Labs are available with limited equipment. Sufficient classrooms are not available, they are managed by giving alternate half days. There is no ground to play. The food provided in the canteen is not much good. We all have suffered from these facilities for four years.
Faculty: The teachers graduated from the same college. They are not much knowledgeable. They don't complete the syllabus on time. They don't even know how to speak English. We didn't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum was average, but the teaching was not good.
Other: The college frequently conducts fests, but they collect money from us. Aurora stands first in collecting money.

50-50 college depends on your self study.
Placements: Yes we have got placements but not from core companies. We all got about got 15-20 companies for placement in 2016. But in that count they are 5 companies only for CSE and it. And other 15 were BPO's and technical support associate. Overall college strives to get placements for their students.
Infrastructure: Facilities such as Wi-Fi and internet are adequate in our college. Classrooms and lab facilities are clean and maintained nicely. Canteen is the best part in our college, consists of all types of food and neatly maintained. We don't have college hostel but we do have other private hostels near by college.
Faculty: Faculty is the average part of this college. before 2013 they are experienced faculty in our college but after 2013 many resigned because of no salary. College has gone into huge debts and faculty person receives 2 months salary at once. So faculty here are average here in junior level. And they follow curriculum very strictly.
Other: Apart from this sports, fests, cultural activities are conducted year wise. Scholar ships front government are approved for ebc and creamy layers.

As per present fee, it's not worth for placements and infrastructure.
Placements: At the end of our batch, we got very fewer placements compared with our senior batches. We got companies like Amazon, Genpact, ICICI, Ux reactor, Purple talk, Ea sports and every company recruited minimum 10-20. We didn't get any core companies, and all are mostly BPO's.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is below average. We didn't have required systems in computer labs and required instruments in core labs. The classrooms are good and comfortable. We have sports room also, in sports room we will be having chess, carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: In our first year we have some well-experienced faculty, but after 1 year so many experienced faculty members left the college due to lack of salaries. We have faculty just who completed M.Tech recently. Some of the teachers are having the knowledge, but most of them having less amount of knowledge. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50.
Other: In our college, we will have good cultural events, but for some events, they will be charging money for entry passes. The campus crowd is nearly 1.5k.

The college is absolutely average in point of the view of its infrastructure and the faculty.
Placements: There are no placements for the civil engineering students studying right now at the college or the students who have passed out. Since the time of our super seniors, we didn't have placements for the civil engineering students. Though we have placements, they are not related to the courses which we have studied.
Infrastructure: In the college, the Wi-Fi facility is not available. The labs for our civil engineering students are also good, but some of the equipment does not work. We also have a library, but all the books are not available to the student. There is also a canteen facility available in the college. Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good, and a sports room is also available for playing the indoor games. Also, a ground is available which can be used for good parking and for playing the outdoor games by the students.
Faculty: We have an excellent faculty for only some subjects as they are will be M.Tech qualified. Also, the way of their explanation is good. But, for the other subjects, the faculty lectures are not good in their explanation. We also get a good industrial exposure. Overall, the course curriculum is somewhat useful.
Other: As I mentioned above, I would like to tell again that we have some excellent faculty for only, some subjects and an average infrastructure regarding the laboratories and such facilities. But, the college placements are not good, and overall, in my opinion, the college is just average.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the college maintenance.
Placements: Placements are okay and companies like ICICI Bank, Genpact and IBM visited our campus. The average salary is 25000 PA. Only a few went for the internships and the faculty support is very good. Some are placed in very good companies. BPO roles are assigned to many students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good but it's okay. We had a library with many books and computer labs are very good. The classrooms are okay and the maintenance is not good. Water facilities in the college are good. In the computer lab, many systems will not work properly.
Faculty: In our college, a very few faculty members are very well experienced and remaining are at the beginning stages. The faculty is very helpful in clarifying our doubts and help us in doing our projects. Coming to the curriculum, the JNTUH syllabus is a very outdated syllabus. Some faculty members are very supportive and make us participate in many competitions and the seminars. Some faculty members will teach very well and some are average in teaching. JNTUH syllabus is not very useful for the students and theory is more than the practical knowledge. It was not useful in today's world.

Better not to join this. Not worth the money.
Placements: For our batch, very few companies came for campus placements. For our seniors, it was better and many of them were placed in core companies. Only a few students were placed. From every department, a maximum of 5-10 students was placed out of 60. The highest salary offered is 3.2 lakhs and the lowest is 1.8 lakhs. The company's which visited are Amazon, Sutherland, ICICI, M Roads, Genpact, Value Labs, Apps Associates etc. The roles are offered according to the company like telecallers, developers, testers etc. Very few students(5-10%) got an internship of their interest. There was no stipend offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was introduced when we were about to leave the college. The labs were not good. Only some of them worked properly. Electrical labs were the worst. There were only a few classrooms in the college. Whenever a classroom was empty, it was allotted for teaching. Very few books were available in the library. I think there are no medical facilities in the college. Few sports and games facilities were available for cricket, basketball, football, table tennis, chess. etc. But they didn't offer kits, we had to bring our own. The canteen food is worth the money and tasty when compared to other college canteens that I have visited. There is no college hostel for us but there are private hostels available.
Faculty: The faculty members were very good for the first year. But gradually many of them left the college. At the end, we didn't find any good faculty. Only junior teachers were there. Some of them were good and very talented and some were not. They only came to complete the syllabus. The student top faculty ratio is 60:3.
Other: The college was not good in academics and the fee is very high i.e. Rs. 64000 and they charge an extra fee for the library, university, project etc. If we didn't pay the fee they called us during the exams.
