My 2-year journey is really memorable. You can also join & have the experience. Teachers are good.

Placements: I found this course more suitable in this digital world. You could pursue an M.A. in Journalism at BJB College. It provided real-time experience, practical guidance, and a friendly environment that made you more efficient in your studies. You could also explore opportunities with channels like OTV, Kanak, News 18, and more during your placement process. In this course, you could join roles in reporting, anchoring, copywriting, and more.

Infrastructure: It also provided a Wi-Fi campus and a friendly classroom vibe. It had a big library where you could take books for your studies. There was no time limit to return the books because they had more books. You could also take notes from teachers, as they provided everything.

Faculty: Teachers were also very friendly, and their guidance was amazing. You never forget it. Faculty members were from reputed media houses, providing real-time experience. During our time, our sir took us to OTV to see how it worked. The exams were difficult, but you could always take guidance from teachers. They were good at providing guidance.

Other: Personally, I loved this field, as I always wanted to be a media person. Today, I also work with a reputed media house. You could start internships with many satellite media channels in your first year, which would give you more opportunities to connect with people and excel in the field. Something I wish I could have done during my time.

A great college to pursue M.A.

Placements: In our college, there were good placement opportunities. Every year, around 50–60% of students get placed. There were various placement drives organized by the college. The top recruiters are Flipkart, EY, HCL, Genpact, etc. The average package offered to the students in our course was 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: There were all types of necessary facilities available to the students in our departments. The college had a Wi-Fi connection in the labs. Students can get all types of books from the college library. Classrooms at the college were well furnished. There was a canteen facility available in the college. Overall, the college had great infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college were qualified and knowledgeable. They were supportive and helpful to the students. Teachers used to conduct various seminars and extra lectures for us. Many guest faculty members used to visit the college. Students can contact teachers regarding their doubts. Exams at the college were difficult.

Other: The management of the college was good. Placement cell of the college was very active. Multiple companies visit the college for placements.

The college needs more infrastructure for different labs and halls. Placements are good.

Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities. Every academic year, our college organises a national seminar. Our college invites different members of the corporate sectors and creates a sustainable environment for both the students and the guests to share the views and provides a foresight of future scope for us. Few students of our seniors have been placed in different manufacturing sectors and which inspires us to work hard to get success. Overall, the scope is good.

Infrastructure: Every department is allocated with specific rooms so that the classes can run smoothly. The college has an auditorium to conduct different activities. The Wi-Fi provided labs are not accessible to us. There is a library facility available for us to deliver the books.

Faculty: Faculty members are always available for the students. Our department has knowledgeable faculty members who provide us with an adequate amount of knowledge and also are accessible during the college hours to clear the doubts. We can also contact them through the phone. Books are also available for the reference, and we got to learn through presentations also.

The college has the good infrastructure and satisfied placement.

Placements: The placement is slightly over-rated in this college. Still, the HR department and the placement cell sends the resume of the students to placement agency and websites like naukri.com, job sansar. The good number of students working as short movie makers, YouTubers and in some local news channels like Naxtra, News 24.7. Nearly, 40% of the students got placed. The salary and stipend is around 3-4 LPM.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. Lots of government funds come to college, so there is no issue with it. We have the spacious campus, air-conditioned Wi-Fi classroom, E-study rooms, library, hygienic canteen, E-labs, internet rooms, indoor and outdoor playground. The hostel rooms are a bit clumsy. Two students have to stay in a room.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified. We have six faculty members per 30 numbers of students. The teaching is satisfactory. We have workshops, field visits for the greater exposure. We had a visit to local news channels and had some lectures of journalists, which helped a lot. Generally, the focus is given mostly on the communication skills.

Other: We have the annual function, tech fests, cultural events, sports and extracurricular activities for the betterment of the students.
