Baghmundi Government Polytechnic, affiliated with WBSCTVESD.
Placements: Our batch session was from 2022 to 2025. 80% of students were placed in various MNC companies and also domestic companies. The high package was 2.5 LPA and the low package was 1.4 LPA. Companies coming to placement are AN/MS, JSW, Bajaj Auto, Subros, Balaji Steel, Ete, and various companies offer various posts like DET, JET, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was mediocre, but now new infrastructure was added. In college, there were no hostels available; students were staying in different messes or PG. Medical facilities were available as there was a government hospital nearby; the college faculty provided sports equipment.
Faculty: The teachers are super helpful and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help the students. The course curriculum makes the students industry-oriented. Many trainings and internships help to make the students industry-oriented. The pass percentage is 4.0 GPA.
Other: I loved to do engineering. I'm fully passionate about it .

We have good placement facility
Placements: Our college provide us good placement facility. Many companies come to our college for placement like jindal steel ltd. , shakambari group of industry, lnt, shyam shell, jsw, bajaj auto, mahendra auto, hundai, prestige tmt, and many more companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provide us good hostel facilities. Our canteen is always active for hostel. Our college has only boys hostel. Boys hostels are always available locally. Our college has 3 course, those are mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering.
Faculty: Our college faculty always help us. All department faculty have different room. Teachers help us in every activity and motivate us. Our teachers help us in exam time with extra classes. In exam hall teachers are very kind and provide us water.

I'm satisfied with the college, it is improving every year.
Placements: Students need to have a rank of around 1000–1600 in the JEXPO exam, to get an admission. There are various companies that come in placements in mechanical engineering courses, like Jhon Deere, Shyam Sel, Bajaj Auto, etc. The average salary package is Rs. 13,000 to 15,000 per month and the highest salary package is Rs. 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have facilities like Wi-Fi. There are labs available, but not too big. Our college does have a library, but there is no librarian. One of the teachers handles the post of librarian. There is a canteen available, but it is not very good. Medical facilities are not available here at the college. Sports and games are held every year.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable, and we have good teaching quality. Our teachers come from very reputed colleges like IIT and NIT, so they're teaching good quality. It's to make the students ready by mindset. The semester exam was difficult but not too much. The passing percentage in our college is 85%-90%.
Other: It is very crowded during college time. In this course, we learn many things to improve ourselves. College events are held many times, like students' welcome ceremonies, farewells, teachers' days, Independent Day, yearly fest, and many more. Obviously, government scholarship is available here with T & C. There are extracurricular activities available from the AICTE Board.
