Review of Government medical college, Bahraich UP.

Placements: It is a government college. Students are selected in it after clearing NEET, then after students choose this college in counseling for MBBS of 5n1/2 years. My college also provides other courses in medical professions like B.Sc. nursing and DMLT. After completing MBBS, you are allowed to practice in India.

Infrastructure: College is good, but it starts working in 2019, so it is a little bit new college, so some construction is continuing in college. But construction in medical colleges is quite normal, so it doesn't bother anyone. Hostels are good. College has a central library and Wi-Fi also. Canteen and mess are present, which works on a tender basis. Every year, a sports fest takes place in college. In college, badminton court and volleyball court are present.

Faculty: From a study point of view, college has a good lot of faculty their to help and teach students. Proper exams on a periodic basis take place. In hospitals associated with college, you will be able to learn clinical knowledge, which has 1-3k patients in flow per day, so it is a huge no. With a lot of work, you have a good opportunity to learn.

Other: MBBS is a dream for me, so I selected this course to help people in their most difficult time. Your personality totally changed after you took MBBS; your prospective will change for everything going around in our surroundings. Every year, a college cultural and sports fest happens in college. Scholarships are provided to those whose family income is less than 2 Lacs per year. College gives you the opportunity to explore many things that improve your medical skills.

Things to know before entering in government medical college Bahraich.

Placements: The course is for MBBS graduation. It's a batch of 100 people. The students are enrolled on the basis of the NEET UG scorecard. There are no such packages in the course. It is a journey of 5.5 years after which you can join for JR Ship, where your income could be around 12 lakh per annum.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and campus size are a bit small and the faculty members alone cannot be relied upon. You have to work on yourself and study the major portion by yourself. The hostel rooms are affordable and provide average facilities with a mess and a table tennis room.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you want to clear your doubt. They are well qualified in their sector and may help in marking important points for the university exam. We also go for various rural family visits to study the health effects and also visit our district hospital for our clinical posting that can benefit us by easing our study.

Other: I chose this field because I was fascinated by the fact that a doctor diagnoses a disease so accurately. This can give me a superpower to make people well. My course could get better if I had teachers who could teach me in a more detailed way and not read any slide of a PowerPoint.

Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply,he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
