It is a good college with great infrastructure and the location is also good.
Placements: This college doesn't offer any placement. As it is a government-aided college and it is not a private college, it doesn't offer any placement to the academic students. But it has some career counselling programs. For this program, they took an amount of money.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. My department was Zoology. I used to go to college every day. We had air conditioners in our classrooms. We had 3 classrooms, and each had an air-conditioner. The library was also good. Various types of books were available in a quiet atmosphere.
Faculty: The faculty at this college was generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They were approachable and willing to support the students. Semester exams were moderately challenging. The students who attend every class would find the exams manageable.
Other: I've always liked Biology so I took Zoology.

Infrastructure is good.
Placements: Our college provides a great opportunity to get internships abroad. The packages provided are pretty impressive. As I've heard from my seniors, the packages offered are between 4 LPA-15LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Especially, in girls' hostel all the necessary facilities are provided, security, cleaning staff, Wi-Fi, fridge, everything is provided at an affordable fee. College has great atmosphere and helpful seniors. I recommend this hostel over any other PG.
Faculty: Teachers are respectful, kind, and helpful towards the students. There are some exceptions regardless. Due to a large number of students, the management failed to properly function many times, and this continues to this day. Teachers are loving. They are well-devoted towards students and well-qualified too.
Other: I have opted for B.Sc. in psychology because I was interested in this subject. This course was fascinating to me because I wanted to learn psychology on a practical ground. The course provided helped, but I was sad when we were told that field study which was there in our syllabus before had been removed due to COVID. I hope the syllabus gets updated in case there is a need for practical learning in this specific subject.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty members. The placement rate was low in 2024.
Placements: The percentage of students who get placed is so low in our course and it is just 20%. The highest package is 3.5 LPA by Amazon and TCS. The lowest package by TCS is 2 LPA.
There are not many recruiters in our course and students get rarely placed. The main recruiters are TCS and Wipro. None of the students got internships and neither college provided information about it. Role offered in our course is mainly customer assistant.
Infrastructure: The college has a big library with all the books and access to computers. There is a Wi-Fi in the college. Classrooms are quite big and there is a water purifier on campus. There is CCTV for protection in classrooms. There is no hostel in the college. The college does not provide a hostel facility. The food available in the cafeteria is mainly fast food, paratha, sabji, egg rolls, momos, coffee, and tea. There are no such medical facilities in the college. Sports and games happen throughout the year like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, long jump, and high jump races.
Faculty: Teachers are masters and some of them are PhD holders. They all have vast knowledge of their particular subjects. The teaching style is so primitive and they teach only that it comes in exams. Semester exams are of medium level. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I just wanted to complete graduation. The best thing is it prepares us for higher studies in this particular field. The course needs changes as it is the older version, and things need to be included according to present-day scenarios. Got fests, the college is the best. It celebrates events and festivals one after one month, like Udyaan, Saraswati Puja, Holi, and Diwali. There is no campus crowd. The college campus is so peaceful. The campus is surrounded by the army area. Scholarships are provided by the government, like the Vivekanand scholarship. It also conducts extracurricular activities. It has NSS and NCC.

Good times I spent in my college.
Placements: The students that were placed in my course did pretty well, with at least 60% securing placements. The internship program is also available, and students with 70% can apply for internships. There are also several companies that hire students.
Infrastructure: There are facilities like a library and computer lab. The classrooms are very big and well-maintained. The infrastructure is also very good. The food in the canteen is pretty good, and medical and sports facilities are available. The college hosts different types of games and sports.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and quite experienced. The teaching quality is very good. The students are focused and friendly, and the teachers are also very approachable. The semester exam pass rate is above 60%. The course is interesting, and the curriculum activities are also quite engaging.

A very good college for this course.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, the lowest package was 1.5 LPA, and the average package offered in our course was 2 LPA. Basically, different types of companies recruit students from our course for handling their account section.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department are average. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained. The library is available. The hostel facilities are very good, and the food quality is also good. Medical facilities and sports are available for students.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and definitely highly qualified and also carry very good knowledge. This course's curriculum is relevant and also makes students industry-ready. The semester exam was not difficult, but 30 percent marks are required to pass the semester.

A good government college in Barrackpore, safe for women, improving well, with great events.
Placements: Many students studying this course almost 40% of students. I don't know about the placements in this course. You have to take government exams if you want to be placed In this subject. I want to get into the teaching line that's the reason why I'm taking this course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are above average for the government college. Many sports activities are here (football, cricket, table tennis, caram etc.). Wi-Fi isn't available, I don't know about the labs. The library was well-maintained and had many books.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but some teachers don't help. Some teachers are absolutely good they helping students. The course is relevant if the student takes this course seriously and they will do something. Semester exams are a little bit hard.
Other: I want to be a teacher. I can learn Bengal literature and the history of words it's fun for me. I think the course is better and I don't have any suggestions to give. Events and fests are good. The campus crowd is good. All you can find here. Fests are very enjoyable.
