Infrastructure is good.
Placements: Our college provides a great opportunity to get internships abroad. The packages provided are pretty impressive. As I've heard from my seniors, the packages offered are between 4 LPA-15LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Especially, in girls' hostel all the necessary facilities are provided, security, cleaning staff, Wi-Fi, fridge, everything is provided at an affordable fee. College has great atmosphere and helpful seniors. I recommend this hostel over any other PG.
Faculty: Teachers are respectful, kind, and helpful towards the students. There are some exceptions regardless. Due to a large number of students, the management failed to properly function many times, and this continues to this day. Teachers are loving. They are well-devoted towards students and well-qualified too.
Other: I have opted for B.Sc. in psychology because I was interested in this subject. This course was fascinating to me because I wanted to learn psychology on a practical ground. The course provided helped, but I was sad when we were told that field study which was there in our syllabus before had been removed due to COVID. I hope the syllabus gets updated in case there is a need for practical learning in this specific subject.

Placements: Our college does not offer any placement or internship opportunities to the students. It's a general degree college that offers valuable and useful education that will be required for higher studies. The education offered were of high standard with all the amenities available to the students.
Infrastructure: There were classrooms with LED tubelights, benches, desks, audio-visual board with projector, blackboard, Wi-Fi, etc. There was a central library for all students to access various newspapers, articles, and journals. Our Zoology department also had a departmental library to access various books, journals, and encyclopedias. I had not availed any hostel facilities in my college.
Faculty: The faculty teachers in our department were highly qualified. There were six professors in our department. Four of them had completed their B.Sc. M.Sc. B.Ed Ph.D. degree and two of them had completed B.Sc. M.Sc. and B.Ed degree. There was one lab attendant in our department who had completed B.Sc. degree in Zoology. The teaching quality was very good by providing updated knowledge with surprise tests being taken after completion of every chapters. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant that consists of challenging and demanding topics to study and explore. Yes, it made the students industry ready because all the students significantly understood and apply relevant knowledge in the practical life.
Other: I had chosen this course because I have the passion and eager to know about the biological Science behind each topic. The best things about my course was to explore evolutionary studies, habitats of the ecological world, Science behind cell, physiological aspects, and many more. The things that I wish to improve is to teach the evolutionary patterns of animals and plants in a more detailed manner. The hierarchical classification need to taught in details. There was an annual fest conducted in the month of August for all the newly admitted students. I had participated in many social clubs like quiz club, sports club and theatre club. The whole campus was connected with free Wi-Fi accessible to all students. Many extracurricular activities like dance, art and craft, music, sports, academics, etc. Were held in our college. I had availed one scholarship provided by the Government of West Bengal. The name of the scholarship was Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM). The financial assistance was Rs. 60000 for three years.

I am well satisfied with this college.
Placements: There is a high placement rate in our college, around 60%–70%. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many more. The top roles offered in our college are system engineer and software engineer, and many more roles depend on the ability of the students. All the students placed have an average package of INR 3.5 LPA, and the maximum package may be INR 11–12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is admirable. It has two campuses, one for science and another for the arts. It provides good facilities with labs, Wi-Fi, an AC room, etc. The quality of amenities provided by our college is also good; for example, medical facilities, a canteen, sports and games, etc.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are very well qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is appreciated for being able to make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult, but it is more likely to depend on your study quality.
Other: I chose geography honors because I have been interested in this course since childhood. The best thing about this course is that it improves your soft skills, such as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and many more. I wish to improve the teaching style of the teachers. Teachers should be more friendly with the students. There are various events, fests, and functions that are celebrated at our college.

Good College. Good lecturers.
Placements: Programming jobs were offered to at least 10 percent of students in our course to our previous batch. Many upskilling courses are also held during which we get job- ready and helps us in increasing our chances for placement. Job fairs are also held to invite companies for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Above average hostel facilities and good Wi-Fi. Okay food quality. The warden is caring yet strict in the right places and Hostel is a great place to stay . The environment is also safe for students to live comfortably. The food is also quite tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and clear doubts. They also explain the topics clearly in an understandable manner. The semester exams are although quite difficult but the professors try to help you by giving regular assignments. It does prepare the student to see the world through the lens of Physics and also make them ready to take up occupations related to the subject of physics and also to take up higher studies.
Other: There are a lot of events and social programs held in our college wherein student participation is encouraged.

One of the best colleges, within the State University.
Placements: Minimum 68% - 70% students get placed. Companies like TCS, and Wipro come for recruitment. Average package is about 3 LPA. B.A. passed students also get placed, which is rare in other colleges. Top role offered is system engineer.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Best part of the college is its library, which is well organised, covered with newspaper, has dept books and even story books. It also has clean and modern labs. Every year, the college organises a lot of events like annual programme, tech fest, science fair, annual sports etc., which makes our college life interesting.
Faculty: Teachers are great. They are helpful and friendly. Maximum teachers are Ph.D. holders, and their experience helps us to lead a great college life. My current course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry ready. Semester exams are moderate, and pass percentage is about 93-95%.
