Not many companies come for placement in college so we mostly had to go to other colleges during campus drive.

Corona batch 2024 overview.
Placements: 10% students got placed through college placements. The highest was 7.5 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average placement was 4.5 LPA. ITC and Amdocs were the top recruiting companies. 15% students got an internship in DRDO & IMD. While internships were implemented with last year's project for these companies.
Infrastructure: The library was good, with enough room for study, and the study material was at par, as much as required and sufficient. Wi-Fi were not allowed for students who were regular/day scholars. Classrooms were of average quality. The food in the mess was decent, but it used cheap oil. Medical facilities were not available in the college, while the nearest hospital was 2 km away, and a medical practice centre was located beside the college. No sports facility, no ground available, only a small volleyball court.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful, some of them were not qualified and not knowledgeable at all, while others were average. Teaching quality was below average, but lectures always happen regularly. The course is irrelevant as they make you study outdated technologies and hence don't make you industry-ready, while it was good to crack exams like GATE. College exams were not that tough, a day or two of preparation was enough. About 80%-85% students pass.
Other: CS was the most demanding course at the time, hence I thought of coming into this field. Pune University should change the syllabus and bring relevant and the latest technologies in the syllabus, and also make practical knowledge a must. Practical exams/labs must be a daily part of the student's experience. Events like Ganpati festival were done, fest happens once a year around April-May. Scholarships are available both private and government-backed. No extracurricular activities are available in this college.

Faculty and overall placement review, 2024.
Placements: Average placement status, mostly in the computer department. In 2024, only 3-4 companies visited, while in 2025, 4-6. Placement packages are approximately 3-5 LPA for freshers. Backlog and failing students are not allowed. No such top recruiting company. The highest package is 7.2 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.0 LPA. Median package is 3.5 to 4.0 LPA.
Infrastructure: The quality of food in the mess is average, 2 days non-veg, while on other days veg. Wi-Fi is not allowed for students during college hours. The library is good overall. No good washrooms. The canteen was recently built and contains average food. Boys' hostels were too messy and were located above the college itself. One room contains 4-5 people. While no girls' hostel on campus, girls share the Katraj branch hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are not qualified for the subject they teach. While some are good, most of them are not. The course is from an old curriculum, and mostly outdated technologies are taught. They mainly focus on the theory part and not the practical, which doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: Most jobs are in CSE, while other core branches have fewer opportunities. New technologies, AI integration and practical knowledge should be added to the curriculum to make students industry-ready. Fests happens once a year around March-April. The campus is not that good as there is an ongoing case in the college, hence they can't build the infrastructure, and the campus is half built. Scholarships are given to students like EBC and private scholarships only if admission is through the government portals or through merit. 20% students get scholarships, whose family income is within the range for merit-based admission.

Strong academics, good placements, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: 60% of students are in computer engineering. The highest package is around 21 LPA. There are all types of companies, including national-level ones. They providing opportunities in competitions and making all the students capable of sharing their own ideas and creating next-level knowledge.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided, and each classroom has TV screens for studying. Windows are provided in the middle of the classrooms. The hostel is present in the college, so there is no need for traveling. Even if students live outside the hostel, a bus is provided with a sharp timetable. Therefore, both the hostel and other nearby areas are good for studies.
Faculty: Their teaching style combines lectures with interactive discussions and real-life examples. They makes complex topics easier to understand. In terms of teaching methodology, the overall teaching quality is good, and students feel supported. The semester exams are moderately difficult, striking a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Students who attend classes regularly and practice problem-solving usually find them manageable. The evaluation system is fair, though at times a bit strict in technical subjects. The overall pass percentage remains fairly high, typically above 75%.
Other: I was interested in technology, problem-solving and programming. Computer engineering offers perfect combination of hardware, software, and innovation. The course curriculum is well structured. It covers core areas such as programming, databases, operating systems, networking, and machine learning. The curriculum is relevant. I feel it could include more focus on the latest technologies. It includes blockchain, DevOps, and advanced data science tools.

Chose it for the teacher, stayed for the pace. Great subjects, Hill campus.
Placements: I'm Aditya, a 2nd-year computer engineering student. Around 80% of students from my branch got placed with the highest package of 19 LPA, with an average of 6-7 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, and Bosch. About 65% landed internships at Cognizant, Live Gaea, and Decimal Teach. Roles offered are SDE, Analyst, and DevOps.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped, the classrooms are clean and teacher-enabled, and the library's a great spot for focused study. Hostel facilities are decent, and food is improving. Wi-Fi works fine in most areas. Sports, gym, and medical support add to a healthy, balanced campus life.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and well-qualified; most explain concepts clearly and guide us through projects. The syllabus is solid and covers industry-relevant topics. Exams are fair if you prep well. Pass rates are around 80%, so it's doable with consistent effort.
Other: Choose computer engineering for its logic-driven, scalable problem-solving. Love the core subjects and hands-on projects. Wish we had more electives and industry exposure. Campus is peaceful, events are growing, and the crowd is focused. Connectivity is good, and also the clubs, scholarships, and surroundings make up for it.

Educated and qualified faculty.
Placements: In Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, Lavale, the average placement rate is 70%-80%. Major recruiting companies are Mahidra, TCS, and many more. Placement rate is moderate with decent packages, like 5 LPA to 12 LPA. In the current years, the highest package for the computer branch is 19 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good, but it is lacking an entry gate with complete construction. But the interior and classrooms are very good. The college has a good Wi-Fi network and a decent library. Hostel rooms are decent with Wi-Fi facilities. The quality of food available in the college mess is below average, they are not providing proper food. Our college doesn't have proper grounds for sports. But college staff are always trying to take various games or competitions in college.
Faculty: All teachers are educated and qualified, and some have doctorate degrees. Teachers are always helpful to all students. My course curriculum is relevant. But it's not updated that much to make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is about 70% to 80%.
Other: I chose my course based on my own choice and interest. Entc has many career opportunities in the semiconductor industry. Events and fest management are well.

College is good, placements are good, and growing. The campus is beautiful but small.
Placements: Currently, I am studying in 2nd year of Computer Engineering. The placement percentage is above 90%. The average package is about 4 LPA-5 LPA. Also, college provides good internships. Students who studied in this college are now in good posts in big companies, and some are growing their startups.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Labs, digital classrooms, and computer labs are available. Hostel and mess are available, but a canteen is not. The food quality of the mess is average. The hostel is good, but the Wi-Fi is not available. They clean every day.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are taken seriously. Need to study, otherwise we have chances of failing. The syllabus is not very difficult. Programming languages like Python, Java, C, C++, DSA, and web development are also in SPPU syllabus. The course curriculum and faculty are good.
Other: The college campus is good, but not many facilities available near the college. Events and fests are organized every year. NSS programs and camps are held every year.
