Review of Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering.
Placements: Students who got placed in last year's batch are up to 30-40%. Currently, I am studying in electrical engineering. The highest package offered till now is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package ranges from 3.4-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Tata AutoComp, Sedemac Mechatronics, and Megha Engineering.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good but the college has only one building. There is no campus in college. There is no ground. Wi-Fi is available but no network is available most of the time. The library is also available. The canteen is available but overrated. There are no medical facilities. Sports are conducted but not so well.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but not supportive. The teaching quality is okay. They make students industry-ready up to an extent and not so good. Exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 70%. The course curriculum is relevant but there will be some mistakes while teaching.
Other: I chose this course as I'm Diploma qualified hence decided to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. The syllabus and paper should be easy. No event is conducted. It organises just one traditional day and 1 day of annual day celebration and nothing else. As compared to other colleges in the locality, our college only conducts one event which I have the worst experience as a student.

Great college but needs a little more enjoyment.
Placements: About 90% of the students were placed last year from our course. The highest package is 20 LPA - 30 LPA. The lowest salary ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Many companies like Wipro, Bajaj, Tata, and TCS recruit from our course. Almost 100% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are good but can be better. Classrooms are well maintained and provide sufficient area. Wi-Fi is also available but permission is required to access the Wi-Fi. Medical facilities are also available on each floor of the college building. College also supports games and sports. Many tournaments are held in college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to the students. They solve students' doubts and questions any time whenever students need them. In our first, we are given an idea of all the courses. Semester exams are a little tough but with good preparation, students can excel in the exams.
Other: Events are very limited in our college. We need more events as well as fests. The college campus is also very small and congested.

Average College but with good friends you can vibe.
Placements: We were the 2024 pass-out batch, and less than half the percentage of students were placed. The highest package was 6 LPA, and the average was 3-3.5 LPA. We were 2 batches, and in each batch, there were approximately 50-60 students. A total of 110-120 students were there for the 2024 pass-out year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. When you make friends in college, you will love it, and the surrounding area is also pretty. Everything is nearby, and you will not face many travel problems. JM Corners is also nearby, where you can eat your food.
Faculty: The faculty is also supportive, and they have a good ability to teach. You will enjoy your college life peacefully. They will only disturb you when the submission is due; the rest of the time, you can enjoy your college life, have fun, and industrial visits are also provided by them.
Other: The fest is very limited, with only traditional day, teachers' day, and annual day happening.

Good, but it could be better.
Placements: The average placement for computer engineering in our college is good and better than most colleges in Pune. As I am a first-year student, I experienced a good environment. The highest package of our college is around 20–30 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Many companies like Wipro, Bajaj, and many more recruit for the computer course from our college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good in our college. Classrooms are well maintained. There is a little network connectivity problem. The library is good too, we can sit there in silence to study. Hostels are in average condition, but the food is good. The canteen in our college is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers help us with everything we need. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. In the first year, they give us information about all the courses provided by the college, so if any student feels they belong to another branch, they can decide in the first year. Semester exams are a little tougher than regular exams.
Other: I feel like I have a good command of computers and have an interest in them, so I feel like joining this course. About our course, everything is great, but at our college, we need more fests and events. The college campus is also a little congested.

College is average. But faculty is good and supportive.
Placements: Only the computer program has average placements in the college, and other branches are not sufficient. You have to put in more effort to crack the placement. Cracking placements is not easy, but teachers support students for placements. Now, the college is autonomous, so the placement rate will increase in the future.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good. The college is small compared to other colleges. You have to change classrooms frequently for lectures. Labs are available and in good condition. There is no hostel available in the college and poor infrastructure for food and mess.
Faculty: Tests are frequently conducted in the college, called CIE, which is conducted monthly. Faculty is good and supportive. Daily lectures are conducted and daily teaching is conducted. Semester exams are conducted strictly, and someone who wants a good pointer can easily crack.
Other: College is not worthy of engineering.

Average college. Very strict, like schools.
Placements: The placements are not that good, but if you try harder and have great skills, you can definitely get placed. The maximum placed this year was 30 lakhs per annum, which was in Japan. The second highest was 20 lakhs per annum. College says their placement is 100%, but the reality looks different.
Infrastructure: Again, infrastructure and hostel are not that good. The college has a very small campus. The hostel is also available for only a few students. The hostel rooms are very small and shared between 4 people. There are no table-chair facilities in the rooms. The campus facilities are okay.
Faculty: Again, the faculty members are good. Sometimes the syllabus and exams may be hectic, but that's normal. Faculty members are very strict. Exams are easy sometimes, difficult at other times. But faculty members will help you a lot. Attendance matters for the faculty. They have arranged the lectures in such a format that if anyone misses one day, they aren't going to recover.
Other: My branch is AI/ML, which is very good because our branch has less intake capacity than other branches.

For the BE or B.Tech programs, Modern College of Engineering cutoff list is generally released after the JEE Mains Examinations, based on the difficulty of the exam. Higher the score more will be the chances to qualify.

So, the cutoff list will tentatively released after JEE results.
