BIMTECH is a good option you can go for. Education over here is totally different. You get a corporate exposure.There is different environment to study in. It's placement is also good and fees is bit expensive but student can manage to get ROI. It's a residential program, so students have to stay in for hostel.

Birla Institute of Management Technology, Gr. Noida does not offer an MBA course. Rather it offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM- International Business, PGDM- Retail Management and PGDM- Insurance Business Management. Incase of any doubt do revert.

These two are in different category, there cannot be any comparison between FORE School and IBS Hyderabad/BIMTECH. Cut off at FORE is 80-85 percentile depending on the programme & much higher CTC is offered. IBS and BIMTECH is at par with JIMS, ASIA Pacific, IPE.

Your CAT percentile doesnt always have to be the limiting factor in finding a good B-school. I found one and so are so many others who arent willing to give up despite the unlucky performance on CAT day.
I have applied to Sri Balaji Societys BIMM and other colleges which offer two year PGDM programme. in multiple specializations. they have 4 B-schools and 13 courses each of which is as good as the other(as per inputs from friends and alumni). I have applied to other B-schools too and look forward to get admission in at least one of these but what attracts me towards Sri Balaji Society is their placement. Almost all students get placed and with attractive packages. They have fairly good faculty and guest lecturers too which is a bonus.

For Finance students, more than 50 companies come for recruitment, and all the student get placed within 2/3 months once the placement starts. There are many sort of scholar ships for meritorious candidates- one is based on their CAT score and another is based on the academic performance during his/her tenure at BIMTECH.
