Choosing between Amity Global Business School Pune and Birla Institute of Management Technology for an MBA programme depends on various factors such as academic preferences, placement opportunities, infrastructure, and personal priorities.Amity Global Business School Pune is known for its industry-oriented programs and has received positive reviews for its academic environment and placement opportunities. BIMTECH strictly follows AICTE guidelines as applicable on the date of receipt of application for refund of fee in case of admission cancellation. Final selection list would be declared in March 2024. The selected candidates are to deposit the first instalment of tuition fee within the given time frame as mentioned in the offer letter to ensure their admission, failing which the offer is passed on to the wait listed candidates. The fee for boarding & lodging has to be given separately at a later date. Institute does not entertain any request for extension of the deadline for submission of fee. Academic session of all the programmes is likely to start on Saturday, June 15, 2024 (tentative).

BIMTECH has got three categories for admission. 85% seats in all programmes are filled through merit/ general category while 5% seats are filled through ESCS (Economically & Socially Challenged Students) Category - (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Minority Communities (Muslims, Sikhs,  Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians/ Parsis & Jains) to bring social diversity in the class.15% Concession to SC/ST and 7.5% Concession to OBC/Minority Communities in Hostel Accommodation Charges will also be given under this category. For the candidates under merit category, valid score in CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT and good performance in further selection stage is must. Rest 10% seats are open for Corporate/NRI sponsored & NRI candidates. Additionally, 45 seats are reserved under Supernumerary category.

All the programmes offered at BIMTECH are residential and hence the admitted students are to compulsorily stay in the hostels of the Institute. BIMTECH is located in a sprawling, fully wired, air-conditioned, Wi-Fi residential campus in Greater Noida, on the out skirts of New Delhi, the capital city of India. The campus environment is highly conducive to academic learning. The Institute has both on & off campus hostel accommodation with similar facilities. Girl students are provided accommodation in the hostel located in campus. At BIMTECH, students can pursue the PGDM course across several specialisations such as International Relations, Retail Management, Insurance Business Management and more. Additionally, students are also offered a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). Professionals who have a working experience of at least five years at a managerial or equivalent post can apply for the Executive Fellow Programme in Management. Please note in the event of an inappropriate break (without work experience) after your Graduation, you will be required to provide a justification during the selection process. Having work experience between Graduation and year of PGDM admission shall be treated as valid.

The merit list for admission is prepared on the basis of past academic profile, CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score as applicable for different programmes and the performance in selection process.
