For BE in Chemical Engineering at BMS College of Engineering, the general eligibility requirement is passing 2nd PUC/12th st&ard with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, & one of the optional subjects (Chemistry/Bio Technology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics), with English as one of the languages. However, for admission under the government quota, a c&idate must have a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination or be a rank holder in the entrance exam. There are exemptions & relaxations in the eligibility criteria for c&idates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC, & for those with disabilities. Additionally, management quota seats have different admission criteria & fees.

For SC/ST & OBC category candidates, the minimum marks required are 40%. Entrance exams conducted by CET/COMED-K/JEE Paper-I are a must for engineering courses for admissions under the management seat. Candidates can visit the Director (Admissions), International Division, Ground Floor, Platinum Jubilee Block of BMSCE Campus for admission-related information. Counselling is held from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
