Yes, open intermediate (class 12th) candidates are usually allowed to study anywhere, conditioned they fulfil the basic criteria like minimum marks and passing intermediate via a recognised board. On top of it, for BMS College of Engineering, the admission to B.Tech and MBA is made on the basis of entrance exam. Thus, there should not be any issue regarding the open intermediate candidates. However, some colleges may have some special criteria as well. It is therefore, advisable to connect with the admission comittee of BMS Engineering College.

You can get admission in BMS College of Engineering even if you are from Tamil Nadu. There is no such criteria prohibiting admission for Tamil Nadu students. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech in AI & ML course is the candidate must clear class 12th with a minimum of 45% from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies subjects. Apart from that the selection is based on COMEDK and UGET KCET Score. The last round cut-off rank for KCET for the general category in 2023 was 2399 and COMEDK, it was 2451.

No, the ACS College of Engineering is not as good as the BMS College of Engineering. The BMS college of Engineering is one of the best aerospace engineering colleges in Karnataka with good placements. On the other hand, the ACS College of engineering has fewer placements and the quality of education is not good. Therefore the BMS College of engineering is much better than the ACS College of engineering regarding overall performance of the placement records.
