Good college for a diploma with supportive faculty and decent facilities.

Placements: I am a Diploma in Computer Science student (batch 2024-2027). Placement opportunities in this college are average. Around 20-30% student get placed, mostly in small companies or through off-campus efforts. The highest package is around 3-3.5 LPA, the lowest is around 1-1.5 LPA, and the average is near 2-2.5 LPA. Few companies visit the campus, mostly local IT firms and service-based companies. Internships are not provided by the college, around 10-20 student get them on their own. Common roles offered are junior developer, web developer, and IT support.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent but not very advanced. Classrooms are average & labs have basic computers, but not always reliable. The library has limited books on technical subjects. Mess food quality is average & can be improved. Basic sports facilities are available, but not very active. Overall, the infrastructure is usable but not impressive.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, but teaching quality depends on the teacher. Some teachers explain well, while others rely more on theory. The curriculum is somewhat relevant, but student need to learn extra skills on their own to be industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study the basic concept. Passing is manageable, and most students pass if they prepare before exams. Overall, academics are average.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer Science & technology. The best part is that it gives a base learning in programming, but improvement is needed in practical exposure & industry training. Placements: I am a Diploma in Computer Science student (2025-2027). The college provides decent placement support. Around 60-70% of students get placed in small IT and service-based companies. The average package ranges from 2-3 LPA. Some students also get internships through guidance. Common roles offered are junior developer and IT support.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good for a Diploma college. Labs and classrooms are properly maintained. Basic facilities like Wi-Fi and a library are available. The hostel and mess are manageable. The mess food is average but acceptable. Sports and basic medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and guide students well. Teaching quality is decent, and most teachers are knowledgeable. The course curriculum gives a good base, but students should also focus on self-learning for industry skills. Exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is good.

Other: I'm pursuing a Diploma in Computer Science (2025-27). I chose this course due to my interest in computers. It gives a basic foundation, but practical exposure and internships could be better. Campus life is normal, and the campus crowd is mixed. Scholarships are helpful.

Placements: Being a student of Diploma in CSE second year at Buddha Polytechnic College, I am highly appreciative of placement assistance provided to us at my institute. Even before entering last year of my course, I have been assisted in acquiring the necessary skills that will help me secure a good placement in the future.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure provided by the CSE department in Buddha Polytechnic College is good enough with all the necessary laboratories, classrooms, and study centres. Campus also houses a nice hostel where one can easily concentrate on studies. Infrastructure is so good, the lab is okay, but if you want to enjoy college life, you cannot do that.

Faculty: Our teaching faculty here is extremely cooperative and approachable. They make learning very easy for us. Course content is equally divided between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, making it interesting. Examinations are timely, and the examination process is very fair, provided that we have studied well.

Other: I am pursuing my Diploma in CSE in my second year (2025-2027). I have chosen this stream since childhood because of my passion towards computers, and I wish to develop myself in the technology sector. The positive point about this course is that it comprises both theory and practice, and one can actually gain knowledge.

Buddha Polytechnic College is the best college all over Purvanchal in Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: The placement package for the Diploma is higher in our college than in other Diploma colleges. Last year, the highest package was 19 LPA, and the minimum package was 10 to 11 LPA. Many of the best and top companies of Gorakhpur or Purvanchal take their placement and internship sessions in our college at the best packages.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure includes the academic building, sports facilities, laboratories, hostels, and a beautiful natural setting. Facilities are very good, and the quality of the hostels is also good. During free time, you can enjoy the canteen area in the evening after college sessions and can also hang out with your friends to enjoy the beautiful view of nature in the garden.

Faculty: Faculty members help so much during exams; they give us a sufficient amount of notes and the Buddha series to crack and score high marks in exams. Extracurricular activities are always held on Saturdays to follow your passion and interact with students. Semesters are hard. I'm not going to say that it is easy, but faculty members give the best notes and explanations to score high. The passing percentage is high in my course.
