    Overview of CIPET College.
Placements: Every student in my class got placed in well-reputed companies. The highest package was 8 LPA, the lowest package was 4.5 LPA, and the average was about 6 LPA. L&T, Valeo, and KINGFA were among the companies. 100% of my class students got internships in various companies. The roles offered were Design Engineer and Material Engineer.
Infrastructure: In the Labs, almost every piece of equipment related to polymers was available. We gained practical knowledge. About the hostel, the rooms and bathrooms were good, but the food was okay.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful to students in clarifying every doubt. They taught some extra knowledge apart from the syllabus. The quality of teaching was good. The plastic technology course was more useful for getting into plastic-related companies. They were waiting for students with plastic knowledge. The exams were easy. The faculty members were good and friendly. They taught very politely and easily. They were well-trained and well-experienced in their field.
Other: About my experience, I enjoyed myself well with my friends. This college was suggested by my sister and family. We received the TANCET scholarship for getting good marks in the exam. Many extracurricular activities were available.

The college is very good, and it known for its excellence and placements.
Placements: Maximum of our students get the best placements here as it is a rare branch in this engineering field. In our course, the average salary package offered is around 6 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our course are Lohia Group of Companies, Kingfa, Time, Chem-Trend, etc. Almost everyone got an internship from our college, mostly in Indian Oil, GAIL and BPCL. Our course provides us with a job in various fields such as L&D department, teaching line and also junior fellowships.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is excellent as compared to other colleges. Our college also provides a digital library for students who are seeking for more knowledge. Our classrooms are equipped with a projector, and all our classrooms are air-conditioned. Our hostel is Wi-Fi enabled and sanitised on a daily basis. Food quality is better from any other college hostel canteens. Medical facilities are also available here for our hostel students in any emergency. Many sports activities are conducted on our campus, such as indoor and outdoor, and there is a massive ground where you can conduct all these sports.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified for this job. They are central government employees, and their processes of selection are based on their high knowledge. Teaching quality is awesome. You should opt for this college. This course is relevant because this is a vast industry in the market, and this must be known to everyone about it. It is a vast course, so our faculty members give a deep knowledge with which our students can set up their own industry.
Other: I have chosen this course because plastic engineering is a rare branch and has a vast use in the industry in making many products useful to mankind. The best thing about this course is it not only deals with plastic industry but also deals with petrochemical and fertilisers industries. Our course is better in its way, and I don't think it should be modified. Our college conducts Cipofest every year, and all CIPET colleges are invited to take part in these events. Campus crowd is generally more due to the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. There are many types of scholarships which you can apply according to your eligible criteria, and extracurricular activities such as robotics, debate, extemporaneous and standup comedy are also conducted here.

Good placement in 2017, disappointing about manufacturing department faculty.
Placements: We had good placement for our batch, salary on average offered 25 thousand which was lower to our degree but still we are okay with the placement results, two of our batch mates got placed in hero motor corporation. Another two of us placed in kingfa Science and technology, the largest compounding industry in India and globe.
Infrastructure: We had good lab facility but few machine were very old and for few research work we had to depend on our another unit of Cipet Bhuvaneshwar, the twin screw extruder which we had in our Chennai campus is outdated one, we need to have more facility in Chennai campus for research work.
Faculty: We had good faculty for plastic depart and it was not same in the case of manufacturing department, they really need good lecturers, and Cipet management recruit them on contract basis, hence some time unqualified people get chance to work because of political back ground.
Other: Our events are not that standard as national institutes it is because of lack of funds, students collecting funds on their own efforts.

Placements in 2015 is really good.
Placements: 60 to 80% of students enrol in my college and my Diploma is in Plastics Technology batch from 2015 to 2018. The placement It is better than other colleges but there is no highest or the lowest package in our course. My course is not required by any company. They treat everyone the same way.
Infrastructure: All the staff are good, and their behaviour is also good. This college also has Wi-Fi access. Labs are also available at this college. Hostel facilities are good compared to other colleges. Medical facilities are also available at this college.
Faculty: The required pass percentage is 70%. It is extremely difficult to pass this exam for the Diploma in Plastics Technology, but the teachers are excellent and teach very well, so we will pass. Yes, the course prepares students for the workforce. The teaching quality is very good, and the teachers are also good in this college.
