A good dental college to join.

Placements: It is a professional college. So the students can expect to be well trained enough to start a clinic. The internship training in the college is also good. In my batch, all the seats were filled. The college has two different quotas: management and government. The fees for government quota is less. All the students can afford to do internship in the college for free, no stipend will be given.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is top-notch. All the lecture halls are fully air-conditioned. The labs have all the facilities. The college has lift and escalator services and cycles to travel to the nearby places. The hostel has all the facilities. Food quality is good in hostel and in the college canteen.

Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified. The curriculum is finished on time and many exams are conducted from time to time. Co-curricular activities are conducted often with prizes. Students can expect to be ready for the profession by the time they finish the college.

Other: BDS is a professional course. The campus crowd is good. College is situated in the outer regions of Chennai, so if you want to travel to the college by public transportation, bus is the only option. Metro will be available till Siruseri in the next four years. Many inter-college programs are also conducted.

1st line choice for studying UG course of Bachelor of dental surgery, .

Placements: 1. Yearly as per government rule 100 seats were allotted for Bachelor of dental surgery. Nearly 75 percent of seats were filled by Tamil Nadu mgr university and 25 percent of seat were filled by management of the college. 2. Salary depends on individual, those who has done master in course were paid more. And most likely candidates who done MS were appointed and paid more than Candidates with UG BDS. 3. In case of dental and medical colleges it is different there is no campus interview or recruitment from companies. We should apply to varies dental institutes for job as dental surgeon, lecturer, reader, etc. Or we can start our own dental clinics if financially well. 4. two courses are offered *BDS * MS.

Infrastructure: In case of infrastructure, Chettinad denatal college is far more better than other dental colleges. Infrastructure includes Free Wi-Fi for students, Biometric systems, Laboratories for each and every departments, Separate laboratories for both UG and PG candidates, Uniforms are provided. Hifi hostel facilities available (Both boys and girls ) Food is healthy and good. Football, cricket, volleyball grounds available. Badminton, carrom, chess indoor courts are available. 24/7 emergency medical.

Faculty: Coming to faculty of chettinad dental college, Teaching staff and non teaching staff, both are well qualified with min 10 year experience. Especially teaching staff and doctors are very intellectual and will help out our students to get qualified as best doctor. They always try to get best from the student to make their future more bright.

Other: All kind of scholarships are provided. Campus is pollution free campus. Well treated drainage system. Cycles are provided. Foodcourt, Shops, salon.

Good value for the money we pay.

Placements: Placements in the dental sector depend on our skills. Chettinad provides you with a good learning experience. They also provide research facilities. They help you with your research work in every step. Internship is provided within the college itself in each department.

Infrastructure: Hostel is available in AC and non-AC. AC provides premium facilities. Wi-Fi is free. We have good labs. There is a peaceful library with all books related to the subjects available. Food is good, but it repeats itself every week. Veg and non-veg food are both available. Evening snacks and juices are provided.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are approachable. Everyone is passionate about teaching and making sure you understand your subject. There are no semesters. One final university exam and 3 IAS are conducted according to Dr. Mgr Medical University guidelines, with a minimum pass mark of 50%.

Other: Good value for the money you provide, and patient flow is average. Teaching is good. Extracurricular activities are appreciated. An iPad is provided here.

Our college has an amazing infrastructure, well-equipped campus and top-notch staff.

Placements: Since it is a medical profession, we don't have campus interviews or placements. But learning here will help you much when you peruse for higher studies like masters, or any fellowship, etc. One year compulsory CRI will teach you most about the clinical setup.

Infrastructure: Our college has a well-ventilated and eco-green campus. Our college has amazing indoor and outdoor stadiums. It is an expensive college, but it is worth for the money paid. Food served in the hostel is amazing. We have a gym, yoga, Zumba, salon, laundry, playground and vending machines in the hostel. Overall, it was an amazing college experience. The college provides you with HP laptop or Apple iPad with college Wi-Fi facility.

Faculty: We have an education system called LMS, through which you can access any subject videos and presentations at any time. They provide both digital and blackboard teaching.

Other: It organises the college fest, Chet Fusion, Chet Fest and Midas every year.

Excellent infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories.

Placements: We have a separate placement cell in our college. We have job placement guarantee. There are total eight departments in our college in which every sub speciality is there. We have got internship in top chain of dental hospitals and clinics.

Infrastructure: We have an excellent infrastructure with well equipped classrooms having projectors. The laboratories are well-equipped. We have a food court which caters the needs of every student and staff. We have cycles to travel in the college campus and also Dolby equipped auditorium.

Faculty: We have a very good faculty. They have minimum experience of 5 years in their field. The method of learning and mastering every topic is made easy by the faculty members. They are very much approachable. Doubts raised by the students are cleared without any hesitation.

Other: My ambition and dream of becoming a doctor made me choose dentistry.
