Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture - my temple.

Placements: More than 90% of students get placed. The salary package offered is 1LPA and the lowest being the same. We receive training in big companies like Birla Cement, and internships are available for students with 85% and above. We secure jobs as architects, home designers, and engineers.

Infrastructure: I took a hostel, and it cost me about Rs. 70,000. We have Wi-Fi facilities here, along with library and classroom facilities. The food quality is very good, and there are sports facilities as well. We also have canteens and good places to eat, along with options for games.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and very helpful. They assist us in-depth with our studies and are kind in nature, helping us a lot. We have a lot of work, but it is very interesting and helpful for our future. I love it.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become an architect in the future. I love the activities we do, such as the projects and models we create. I just wish they would reduce the workload. We have many events here, like college festivals.

Chitkara University provides a great learning atmosphere.

Placements: The placement rate here is good, and the teachers are also really helpful. Many students get really good placements, which depend on their work throughout the entire degree. Cash prizes are also given to exceptionally high-ranking students. Overall, the placement rate is good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is fantastic. The teachers and faculty are very helpful. They guide us at every point where we get stuck and help us when we are not able to understand something. The hostel environment is also good; architecture students are provided with a different hostel with drafting tables in the rooms.

Faculty: The faculty is very polite and amazing, very helpful, and provides proper guidance. The teachers are quite knowledgeable and qualified. The course curriculum is quite relevant, and it does make the students industry-ready. The semester exams seem fairly manageable if you have paid attention in class.

Worthy infrastructure with clean environment and green campus all over.

Placements: 70 percent of students were placed in my course. I think the highest and lowest package depends on your performance in interviews and your portfolio presentation, but the average is INR 600,000 per annum. One of the top recurring companies is Liv space. The top roles include junior interior designer and senior assistant designer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is good. Our conditions are available everywhere, and Wi-Fi is also available on campus. There are libraries in each department and an individual library on the campus itself. Hostels are fine. Mess food is tasty, but not hygienic. There are communal bathrooms as well as attached washrooms and WiFi available in hostels.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. One can approach them at any point of difficulty or doubt. They explain very nicely, and one can understand very easily. The course is very practical, and teachers focus on more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. The level is fine and not very difficult. Some students clear the exams, while others can reappear.

Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in buildings and the interiors of spaces. The best thing about my course is its practicality. It would be better if there were no outings, as according to the university rule, scholars cannot go out of campus before 3:30 p.m. rest, the crowd is fine and there are extracurricular activities, clubs and many sports competitions as well.

Placements: Chitkara University consistently achieves an impressive placement rate, with over 90% of graduating students receiving job offers before graduation. Their alumni have gone on to hold prominent positions in various industries. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Google, Airtel, HCL, and many more participate in the placement drive. The highest salary offered is INR 40 LPA with an average of INR 8.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Multiple collaborative design studios equipped with the latest design software, high-performance workstations, and cutting-edge technology. Dedicated space for large-scale model making, prototyping, and fabrication. Extensive collection of books, journals, theses, and other resources. The university operates a central mess facility that caters to the dietary needs of the hostel residents.

Faculty: Faculty is approachable, kind, and accommodating, and fun to interact with. 90% of the faculty are actively involved in the market and can guide really well on how to work in this field. Regular discussions, mentor meetings can really help to get an insight into the current scenario. Every semester has 3 sessional tests with the two best performances chosen. If one is mentally present during sessions and lectures, individuals can manage to ace the exams.

Other: Chitkara University is known for its campus life, lavish musical concerts, sports day, fests, etc. B.Arch. here is obviously tiresome but the regular workshops, masterclasses, and COA mandate trips make it worth it.

Placements: Placements are provided on a merit basis. We should have the knowledge and confidence to get placements. Experts conduct extra sessions about software, etc. They help us to get placements.

Infrastructure: Blocks are designed as per the needs. The interior is good. Students who use wheelchairs face difficulty because there is no ramp or elevator.

Faculty: We will have less time to prepare for exams. There is a hectic schedule for architecture students. Our teachers conduct classes. They provide assignments. They arrange industrial visits. They are good, friendly, and supportive. They provide exposure.

Other: Our college conducts events, extracurricular activities, fests, and concerts regularly.

My experience at chitkara university is lovable and I will suggest everyone to go there.

Placements: No student is got placement in this course, you have to make portfolio of your work and then go to the companies on your own and than they will hire you according to your skills. Starting package is from 30,000 and varies according. Top recruiting companies are ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS, HAFFIZ CONTRACTOR, ZAFFAR ARCHITECTS. Each and every student get internship in higher and lower companies according to their skill. But everyone is get internship for sure. Top roles offered by this course are project manager, assitant architect, urban planner, landscaped architect etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities they have provided is more than average. Wi-Fi connections are poor but now they are progressing. There is no lab instead of it studios are provided. Library is also is in good condition, you can get everything you want in the library to read. Hostel facilities are also perfect. The nightingale hostel is the bestest hostel of the whole university. Before it was a girls hostel and now it is converted to boyz hostel of marine department. The food in mess is average. No comment on it. But they have provided the best food in canteen. The medical facilities are poor but the sports and games facilities are best. They have provided a sportorium for games.

Faculty: Yes the teachers are helpful qualified and knowledgeable. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and the industry and growing india demands architect more and more. There is as such no difficult while giving exam. Whatever they taught you and you get the things well only and only then you will get good marks.

Other: I don't know why I chose this course. But I am not regreting while learning it. The best course and I love my decision to study it. The best thing about my course is you will get small amount of introduction or you can say you can learn small thing about everything existed on this earth. I wish to improve and I want to say this to teachers that they should provide practical knowledge to us more than theoretical part. Vast fest and more events are organised by our college. And there is more extracurricular activities in this college. Like they made club of every hobby interest one should have.
